#2 pass defense in America his season at UF, and he signed All SEC caliber guys like Marco Wilson, CJ Henderson, and Brad Stewart. Florida upgrades massively. When we still sign Kaiir Elam in two weeks, this little ploy by Kirby will look like a disaster.

You’re right, Florida has never beaten out UGA for a recruit. You guys are so delusional

It sure hasn’t happened much recently. The fact that you’re talking so much shite about a recruit that 1) is from Florida, 2) is Matt Elam’s cousin, and 3) hasn’t even committed to Florida yet is pretty telling of how that battle has gone recently.

If UGA pulls Elam out of Florida, there is no hope for UF going forward

That might be a bit extreme

What will it make Kirby if he hired a so-so DB coach two weeks before signing day just to sign one particular recruit, then missed on that recruit?

So Charlton is so-so now that he left y'all?

Considering Smart has never lost a recruit to mullen, it would make a first.

Do you honestly believe that's what he did?

The dude he hired was literally on the coaching staff of your beloved Mullen. Mullen clearly didn't think he was some chump.

Do you truly believe Smart made a DB coach hire just to sway 1 4 star recruit?

You honestly believe that?

UF’s 247 says that the Elam’s love Torrian Gray’s resume, and that Florida kept them aware that Charlton Warren was being courted by UGA. Elam family even said Torrian Gray was an upgrade because of his extensive track record, which Warren does not have.

Our 247 said despite what the perception is coming from the UGA side, Florida is in excellent shape to land Elam

Considering the fact that based on his history, Warren will be coaching elsewhere next year, I think it’s safe to say that his relationship with Elam at UF had something to do with it. Torrian Gray would’ve been a much better hire for UGA. I’m glad Kirby made it possible for us

He was always considered so-so from day 1.

When he was hired many questioned the move. He had just allowed a freshman Felipe Franks to beat his secondary on a GW hailmary months before. Many thought it was an average hire at best.

Gray is a major upgrade.

Would love to see the posts discussing this before UGA hired him.

Who else is so-so on Mullen's staff?

This is interesting.

Knox and English would both be no big loss.

Scott is good, but probably replaceable.

Hev, C-Rob, and now Gray would all be huge losses from a position standpoint.

UGA sent 1 coach to do in-home supposedly. Think the white flag is being waved on this one. The Torrian hire was a chess move here by Mullen. This is the type of battle we should expect Florida to win against UGA and they are likely going to. UGA fans, y’all have an amazing class, doubtful this one stings too much.
