Honest to god why would any coach want to deal with the bullshite going on in CFB right now? Recruiting is enough of a grind and now you have this crap? NCAA is a complete joke. They’ll send out the hounds for having too many coaches on the field or unathorized dead period contact but when millions of $$ are floating around from shady boosters and lawyers luring 17 year old kids families they just turn a blind eye. It’s truly unbelievable what cfb has become in such a short time.

There has to be more to it. If can't be about the actual 300k.

Maybe it's more about the principle of not paying heitner the money.

He's got access. That much I know. He's also got an ego the size of Russia but he's a rabid Gator fan and I'd be shocked if he would do something so short-sighted as to put a wedge between him and the university.

IMO these are message board rumors because he's chummy with Ruiz but he's not going to not rub shoulders with South Florida power brokers.

Y’all got a serious dumpster fire going on over a 4 Star. Napier should’ve just released him from his LOI and moved on the first sign of trouble

Technically, it’s still an option.

I say let him kick rocks and go after another QB like Walker. Billy recruited him at ULL so theres familiarity there.

We are in a world of hurt going forward if Rashada bolts and we don't get a last second guy like that QB leaving LSU.

Yep, which is why I think you have to go with the bird in hand as much as it pains me to say it.

He’s likely TCU bound.

I know NIL is kind of a “good for you” approach in a lot of team locker rooms but I have to think if Rashada stays, it will lead to some weird feelings between those dedicated to the team and him.

Not to stray off topic too much, but what have the Gator fans been hearing in regards to others courting him? If he’s not heading to Florida, does he give Oregon another look? They’re handing out the bag, though he eliminated them early in the summer, if my recollection is right.

This a conglomerate of inept people who are not on the same page. You mix that with a dad trying to cash in on his son. And a few shady lawyers, and you get, what we currently have here....... a clusterfrick.

But, as we all know the people in charge of this program, have to be held accountable for this shite show.

If you want to compete in today's college football, you have to play the game. Stricklin and UF's administration, act as if they're above all this, and refuse to play. It is what it is. The administration wants to be Vanderbilt academically speaking. But, what they're really doing is turning Florida into Vanderbilt athletically. (Football)

Stricklin dropped the ball here. He needs to go. We need someone who can adapt to the way things are done now. And he's clearly shown, he can't

I haven't heard anything about other suitors but Rashada is probably out of gas until after the spring if this falls through unless he has a deal ready to go right now with someone else. I still think that lawyer Ruiz from Miami has something to do with this.
