Ya, which made me wonder why he would float the EG stuff.

No-one ever knows for sure, but BMatt >>>>>>>>>> JLEE...

what's surprising to me this year is just how much Auburn "insiders" have absolutely no clue... the past couple years, information hasn't been all that hard to come by...

Ex: 2010, the whole world thought corey lemonier was going to FSU... AU insiders were pretty confident he'd be at Auburn.

2011, UT fans were convinced Gabe Wright was going to Knoxville... didn't happen.

This recruiting class, as well as the tight-lipped OC/DC coordinator searches has led me to believe there are no Auburn insiders anymore... just dude's throwing sh*t against the wall and seeing what sticks.

4-star RB I'Tavius Mathers from Blackman in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has decommitted from Ole Miss and opened his recruitment back up. Auburn, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and probably some others are expected to be involved with his recruitment. Mathers and Todd Gurley from Tarboro (N.C.) High are the Tigers top two running back targets.

Gurley is more than likely going to stay in state and go to either Carolina or NC State.

Cmon man…

Kwon Alexander, Leonard Williams, Avery Young, Eddie Goldman, Stefon Diggs, Cordarelle Patterson, Alex Kozan, and Menelik Watson are all seriously considering Auburn.

Lose a couple coordinators and the sky is falling. Auburn is never going to be able to recruit again without Roof and Malzahn. Back to the days of Tubbs. Woe is us and our 3* talent.

Aubies just need to be chilling. I am sure Chizik is well aware of what he is facing this recruiting season. I really am not concerned. I don't like losing a player, I cringe when other top recruits on our list go elsewhere, but we will be competitive and bring in some very good talent at key areas.

Besides I have not been able to influence anything to do with recruiting from my keyboard.
