Quarries… every quarry here in North Alabama started increasing prices on aggregate right after covid hit.
Blue Ridge, Georgia… low key, excellent dining options, and great fishing.

60 and breezy

Sitting in a Millennium Buck Hut watching over a cut bean field.

If it’s brown, it’s down. One of my subs asked for a deer to cook on New Year’s Day. Brought my daughter with me. Hoping she gets her first buck this evening.

Be interesting to see what the official National Weather Service survey finds. I live 10 minutes from downtown Athens, was watching the Radar Scope app, and never really saw anything significant on Radar Scope. I personally never saw any signs of tight rotation on radar.
Bobby Garlands, or hair jigs. Usually hair jigs work better for me in colder water.
Last yr… Paw-In-Law got me a Springfield 10mm.

Our rut is getting fired up. Wouldn’t care if I had to wear shorts. I’m going to be in the stand as often as possible during the rut.

Shot a big doe yesterday evening with a 7-08 in 150gr and she dropped right where I shot her.

Correct… do initial charge on panel, then set it and forget it.

Cameras don't have to have batteries if running on a solar panel.

The external battery/ammo box setup cost me about $60 plus I bought a lithium battery charger for $30. I'm hoping I don't need a solar panel. I figure the less moving parts, the better.

You could have bought a solar panel for what you spent here, and never had to worry about it again. We’ve got 3 cameras with panels that have been out for two yrs straight and haven’t had to do anything to them.

WisEye. I have 6 and love them. I have a few trash Spypoint’s, when they die I’ll buy more WisEye’s.

This right here... I have 4 Wiseyes and am slowly transitioning all of my Tactacams out for Wiseyes.

Tired of my pos Vortex bino harness. Looking to buy a new one. What says the OB?

$100 gift card to a hunting or fishing trip
Problem with these books lies in the type of grass on the greens. Those books don’t account for the grain in Bermuda greens.

I’ve got on a pair of their bibs and coat right now. No issues at all. Mind you I just bought them the start of last deer season, but they seem to be solid.

A stud came across the field right at legal light. Didn’t feel comfortable taking the shot. Too early in the season to risk a bad shot.
