This one is easy guys. I live up here in Omaha. There is significant worry that without divisions and with USC, UCLA, Oregon and UW coming, Nebraska will never, ever be relevant again. The boosters have ponied up a guaranteed 1.5 million per year dollar NIL deal for him.
A few weeks ago Rhule made an off hand comment about a good QB costing 1.5 million in NIL money. He was referring to Raola.

If you trust your staff then you should be leaning toward him being great, right? They made him the centerpiece of this class for a reason. If they thought Puglisi was just as good they would have saved the NIL dollars and just had Pug be the guy the entire time.

That was a general statement but I do think he’d be great here. He’d have an entrenched staff and consistently loaded team and supporting cast. Nebraska doesn’t have that yet. You won’t find me acting like him flipping would be nothing, but I’m also not going to act like it’s the end of the world. Before the portal and NIL it would be a much bigger deal. Now, any given year, if Georgia entered transfer season like “hey we’re definitely taking a transfer to start next season”, they’d be at or near the top of any transfer’s list. And from what we’ve seen so far, there’ll be plenty of talented guys entering each year.

Wonder how much this kid’s uncle and dad are pushing him to Nubberville. There’s no benefit. Likely gets paid less. Plays on a shitty team. No national exposure there.

Nobody knows what happened. My guess is that he wants a bigger payout and Nebraska can make it happen, but who knows. This would be a bigger deal if CFB did not have free agency now.
