After talking to a source with knowledge of the recruitment I've flipped my 247Sports Crystal Ball Forecast to Nebraska for 247Sports' No. 2 overall recruit Dylan Raiola.

Raiola has been committed to Georgia since May. We'll see if the Bulldogs can hold on late. The Huskers appear to be picking up steam in this one.

It was always strange he didn’t consider Nebraska more early on. His dad was an all-American there. His uncle is the OL coach.

That makes sense… crazy this late in the game though.

UGA always has Ryan Puglisi committed too…

Article says his Dad went to NU. If I'm that kid IDGAF, i'M not going anywhere near that school, program or state.

UGA will replace him regardless, but wtf.

I'm also betting they were made promises/guarantees/accommodations no one else in their right mind would honor.

Crazy how Marcus Satterfield can trick so many elite QBs into playing for him

Wonder if Beck is coming back and he thought he lost his ability to compete for the job as a freshman. May have originally thought Beck would be gone and he’d be competing against another freshman and guys who’d never started a college game. Idk. Hope he stays.

If that’s the case, then UGA shouldn’t be too worried. I’m sure he’s talented, but many of these kids who are only concerned about playing time aren’t worth it

This has to be it, other than family Nebraska has no advantages but I guess family can certainly be a big thing

Nebraska is going after Kyle McCord in the portal and looks like they are going to land him….makes zero sense to think he’ll play as a freshman or that he’s been guaranteed anything.

Something happened between he and Georgia within the last week. He was supposed to move to Athens next week.

I don't think this has anything to do with Beck.

Perhaps this would mean that McCord will no longer be an option.

Something off the field. Happened out of nowhere.

Mizzou is now back in the running for Daniel Kaelin, who was a Mizzou commit, then flip to Neb and possible flip back to Mizzou. He's a Nebraska instate 3 star qb.

Sources: Nebraska coaches have communicated with in-state QB commitment Daniel Kaelin that they are again in contention for a commitment from Top 10 recruit Dylan Raiola, who is committed to UGA. Nebraska coaches have made clear that they still would honor Kaelin’s commitment.

I get that, Nebraska had a good team this year. They severely lacked a competent QB.

His uncle is the OL coach at Nebraska. He also got a year extension on his contract and a 53% raise for a mediocre offensive line…

His dad also played there and his number is retired.
