What at your thoughts on Traeshon Holden heading to the portal?

He should have tried Holden onto the ball more.

He's a good kid but has feet for hands.

Hands are the feet of the upper body.

Holden needs to be a hybrid TE.

Processed for a reason...

Him not getting much PT in one of our worst WR groups in a long time is telling. Hopefully he can put it together at his next stop.

We desperately need that at Missouri

I’m sure you have a story for why the same logic doesn’t apply to Preston, Anderson and Law.

Well they were the WRs taking the playing time away from others the last few games.

Well Law was hurt and once he was healthy immediately began contributing. He's one of if not the brightest spot at WR from November. Blocked his arse off, made tough catches, showed explosion.
Anderson has been hurt the entire fall off and on, including the entire fall camp, which pushed him pretty far behind.
Haven't heard anything about Preston.
Not to mention, Holden is a 3rd year player. Those 3 are true freshmen.
Holden is fine. It's not great that a guy who isn't a speed guy also drops tons of balls and isn't a great blocker.

Who was the worst Bama WR group in a long time?

Holden was the good enough in practice to get on the field, occasionally good enough on the field to get open but rarely good enough to catch the ball when given the chance.
If the light ever came on for him he could be a solid receiver but it didn’t in three years in Tuscaloosa and he isn’t some athletic freak to justify the drops.

True freshmen vs a third year player?

Can't catch a pass to save his life, got passed up by true freshman this year.

Imagine your upperclassman WR who has nearly no explosion but can be a solid possession receiver dropping passes nearly every game
That’s Holden

He’s a long strider that drops every third or fourth pass.

I don’t know about Preston but Anderson was injured and Law got significant playing time the last 3-4 games. Our WRs are not as bad as our fans try to make them out to be. BoB is a terrible OC, our best WR talent is freshmen and sophomores, and Bryce’s injury is worse than people realize.

He’s a hard worker but he’s slow as shite and has brick hands.
