LSU or TEXAS is the perceived choice here. Big head to head recruiting battle between these 2 programs that will be common place moving forward.

Seems like LSU got a visit high and he is now trending more for Texas. Wouldn't put money on it either way though.

Can't wait for him to select Auburn, I believe the photo of him in our uniform is just out of view when he made this.

This recruitment is up in the air honestly. You've got insiders on both sides saying they feel good. No one really knows but Simmons, and that could change before NSD honestly. So I don't think it's over regardless of where he decides to commit to tomorrow.

Yeah I may have the total wrong read on the guy, but feels like he might be heavily swayed by how each team does this season.

100% agree, I've changed my mind twice, proof that I have no clue.

Something tells me that no matter his decision on Thursday, this recruitment will not truly be over until he signs on NSD

If he goes to LSU, it's for all the right reasons.

If he goes to Texas, it's because he was paid millions.

Miami was dropping bags last year. They must of really lost Ruiz because they would be pulling some of these guys they've been missing on if they still had his money.

This guy for example with UF and FSU in the top 5 and they have like 6 four stars out of 20 it's pretty obvious the NIL money ain't there like last yr.

Miami allegedly had a solid NIL foundation, I guess it was really Ruiz and a few pretenders.

Florida gives me a pre SEC/NIL TEXAS vibe.. apathetic to making things happen.

Nobody knows where he's going besides himself.

Still a whole season to play too.

He is getting paid either way. You shorthorn fans can’t see through that Forest of rubber dildos that you like to smash against your faces. Texas is outbidding LSU and that’s fine. LSU has put an incredible offer on the table but TU has a blank check. If that’s all it boils down to then so be it. Texas hasn’t done squat since Vince Young left. They can’t even win in the sorry arse Big12. If you think that is going to magically translate into success in the SEC then you are crazy!

I’m hearing his heart is at LSU, but that Texas recently offered an ungodly number. It’ll be interesting to see if he takes the cash or follows his heart.

We shall see. I’m expecting the money to win out in this one.

Hoping to be wrong though

The coping mechanism of all college football fans, Horns included.

This one will really hurt if it's LSU. Texas is all in on Simmons. He's the one we can't let get away. If Simmons picks LSU, Texas will need to reevaluate everything and decide if they want to compete for championships or not.

That said, all signs point to Texas ensuring that this goes their way this afternoon.

I thought there was no trolling on the recruiting board? Either way, seems like there's some projection in your post...

Wow. You're taking this kinda hard, huh?
