Alabama is expected to announce Freddie Roach as the new DL coach today. That will make Alabama the favorite to sign Jackson.

His high school coach said Jackson has a tremendous relationship with Roach. And we just got a CB for him

Alabama was already trending for Jackson.
Jackson has said Roach is the coach he is very close to.

I just wouldn’t say that coach transitioning is a 100% correlation to becoming the favorite

Ole Miss insider already cb'd Jackson to Bama before the Roach news, so I think it's a pretty good sign.
But recruiting is fluid, just ask VolTiger.

Plus, he took an unofficial visit to Bama this weekend. If the internet wasn’t real high, he could of official visited elsewhere.

I’ll just say that his decision isn’t really tied to who the coach is. With Roach at Ole Miss, their chances were still extremely slim

VolTiger swore up and down that Brady was staying, Jarrett was staying, burton was staying, and that Evans was going to LSU. NONE happened. I swear he’s the biggest idiot on this board and the LSU fans are finally starting to realize it after gargling his balls for years

It usually does when Bama's involved. In fact its likely getting Jackson was the contributing factor of hiring him. Not saying he definitely wont go anywhere else but happens alot.

Demetric Warren CB'd McKinnley Jackson to Alabama.

He's been hired but there might not be an official announcement for a while.

Bama typically waits until all football coaching and off-field staff departures and new hires and contracts are finalized and then announces them all at in one press release.

Wait, so baker will be an off field coach?
Didn't y'all just get him a year or two ago?
Thought he was suppose to be a really good d line coach. Why the change??

hired last year. Don't know but I assume Saban did not like his performance or he was not up to par recruiting. Not really sure.

Was rumored he may go to the NFL this or next year. IDK. Think he was highly regarded bc he had Simmons and Sweat at MSU on his line

All five recruiting mods from the state of Mississippi have CB'd McKinnley Jackson to Alabama in the last week.
