4* DL commits to Ole Miss, flips to Colorado, flips back to Ole Miss a few hours later

No. 89 overall prospect and no. 3 player in the state of Mississippi, Ben'Jarvius Shumaker, has been committed to Ole Miss since March of 2026. Earlier today, he flipped his commitment to Colorado around noon. Roughly nine hours later, Shumaker flipped his commitment back to Ole Miss, apologizing for the "confusion" around his recruitment.

Today we learned that it takes his bank 8 hours to process a direct deposit from the University of Colorado.
The second that deposit said "in account" he flipped back

Of course, that's all recruiting is now a days. Anyone who thinks a kid is taking less money to commit to their school because they just love it that much is just blowing smoke up their own arse

This sounds like one of those situation where Colorado had a higher offer, he brought it to OM, OM called the bluff and whoops, he flipped
