Interesting post in the middle of one of the threads on BOL.

After tomorrow, no one will question where Saban will be finishing his career. His commitment to the University, and the University's commitment to him, will go beyond his new contract extension. Alabama is going to be at the top of college football for a LONG time! Also, this contract will change the game as he did when he first signed with Alabama. Exciting times, fellas.

Wait a minute. I thought Nick and Terri hated Tuscaloosa and have tried to find a way out of that s###hole since Day 1. Everyone knows they're miserable and want out don't they?

not a great work ethic and came in out of shape.

Yea, they said he had gone into a camp out of shape. However, they also said that he showed up at this moat recent one in shape and he looked as if he had been working hard lately.

Well....Jesse Williams did it four times, and is the strongest player on AU/UA.

About four hours before the BOT meets, a source has informed Tidesports.com that Saban's extension is expected to take him through the 2020 season. In 2009, he was extended through 2017. This extension, three years later, simply takes him three years farther. No specific word on new pay scale yet, but will bring it if we get it.

He's also 320 pounds and compact. Comparing him to Prosch is a lot easier than comparing Carl Lawson to Robert Nichdemikgbdfloejf.

You talking about Jesse Williams or Prosch is compact, the Tasmanian Devil isn't very compact (P.S. I saw a vid from 2 or 3 days ago practice and Coach Rumph was screaming at him & calling him Tasmanian Devil LoL)

6'0, but probably more around 5'10-5'11 because players typically get an inch and some weight added.

And look at him, he's compact. And he's listed at 6'4 on Rivals, which means he probably around 6'3 instead. Are you going to tell be Terrance Cody wasn't compact too? He was/is 6'4 as well. A short person can be lanky just as easy as a tall person can be compact.

BTW, good pic-up with the new recruit.

"I have been there multiple times and it just seemed like the perfect place, I mean I just had a feeling about it," said Dodd.

"Coach Saban was excited because they are losing some offensive lineman and they need people at that position. Getting a commit was great for them at OL."

"It has been on mind for a couple of weeks, I just wanted to take a last few visits to finish it out before I wanted to sit down and make this decision."

"Its great on being able to play with someone from high school and someone you already know and are close to. I don't think he knows yet to be honest,"noted Dodd.

In other news it still isn't being reported on Rivals TOS

The northwest Georgia product becomes Alabama’s ninth commitment and selected the Crimson Tide over offers from LSU, Florida State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, and South Carolina among others.

That's quite the offer list for a 3*.
