You mean the timeout, timeout, punt strategy doesn't work?

The one play that destroyed me inside was the screen play to Yeldon in 2012. shite was heartbreaking man.

That was an unreal game/experience.

The fact that AJ took them down the field in that environment was insane.

I'll never forget how happy Saban was to win that game.

Dude knew he just did something incredible in a legendary atmosphere.

Have to respect Bama for pulling that off but frick me did that hurt considering the circumstances and what happened the year prior.

Chavis defense in action. Thanks A&M.

The 2012 loss to Bama was second only to the 2014 loss to Bama in terms of utter agony. Chavis must be a genius to screw us twice that way. And don't forget Clemson in the 2012 Peach.

And Penn State in 2009 and Georgia in 2013 and Ole Miss in 2013 and Notre Dame in 2014. In every one of those games, we were tied or leading late in the game (final minute except for the UGa game, which was final two minutes) and his defense allowed the game-winning or tying score to send it to OT where we lost. Chief was, well, the chief of blowing late leads when we just needed one stop to secure the win.

Bet you still weren't as drunk as Garcia that day.

As an Arkansas fan we would need to expand the buffer for posts to fit them all in. The Stoernover. Untouched fumble into the endzone with Bama on the ropes. The Big Shootout conversion by Texas. As of today RW III getting injured against Auburn.

Many more.

For Auburn since roughly 2000

2002 UGA, Greene to Johnson

2003 Ole Miss, Obomanu dropped winning TD

2005 LSU, pick a John Vaughn field goal of your choice

2007 LSU, Flynn to Byrd

2008 Miss St., Broke my heart to see the sport itself reduced to such levels

2009 Alabama, their game winning TD

2013 FSU, Benjamin catch, this is the WOAT

The fact that AJ took them down the field

That was incredible in light of the fact that LSU dominated the 2nd half of that game, and prior to that drive Bama had only 2 first downs in the half

Yea and them along with all of us were 100% sure they were going to slaughter little ole Boise State in their own home town dome too.

Basically, they may have been the favorites against ND but no way anyone can say it was a gimme. Not with UGA

Gurley raped Bama's defense in the SECCG in 2012. What do you think he would have done to ND's?

Cant be true. Auburn did not have a football program in 2012

Okie St kicker misses what would have been a game winning 37 yard FG vs Iowa St in 2011. This was, in hind sight, more heart breaking than the Yeldon screen.

Dear God. I had cleansed the Prothro snap from my memory. Until now. Thanks.

oh no. Better one. Jeremy Hill 50 yarder against us in 2012 to put the game away was worse. Came one week after we nearly shut out non-national Champs UGA.

Probably the Al Krueger 2-yard pass from Schindler to win the 1940 Rose Bowl for USC.

So much fail by CU during the drive, too. Bienemy should have scored from midfield but slipped.
And the TE should have kept his feet and bowled over the DB at the 3.

Either of those happen and 'Zou gets the ball back with time for a Hail Mary.
