Apparently there was a play a long, long ,long time ago where an Auburn player caught a field goal attempt and returned it for the game winning TD to keep Alabama from 3peating. I'm pretty sure it is just a tall-tale though. Folklore. Myth.

Pretty sure Nick Saban isn't leaving until wins 3 national titles in a row or dies trying, so thank barn

So many through the years, but it's probably the last second TD by Clemson in this year's NC. I could tell early in the second half that Bama was going to lose, but to have it happen on an obvious pick play with one second left was beyond the pale.

Kelvin Benjamin's catch with :13 seconds left but really the play that lost us the game is when two of our defenders donkeyed into each other on a short curl route earlier in the drive that led to like a 50+ yard gain when it should have been stopped for like 7 and the clock running.

I always felt that if anyone on FSU's second level made a shoestring tackle on Mason, Auburn would've eventually scored a few plays later, leaving no time on the clock. FSU's defenders were huffing oxygen on the sidelines in the 4th quarter...they were toast at that point, and there's no doubt in my mind that Auburn would've scored regardless. To think that FSU's worn-arse defense ultimately helped themselves in the end...ugggh.

This one is without a doubt the play that will haunt UGA fans until we win a natty. If we spiked the ball and got a touchdown within two plays we would have won the 2012 national title. This game was the real national title that year and everyone knows it, even ND fans.

Yeah. Who knew that the distance between Orlando and Miami was only 4 yards..

We lost the BCSNCG 2013 because of Cody Carlson. Dude kicked off into the endzone all year. Doesnt kick one at all in Pasadena. Net result TD return. He missed at least one FG attempt as well as I recall.

Ole Miss has two plays which are terrible.

The first is, obviously, the play which Chucky Mullins never recovered from.

The second is Laquon Treadwell going in for the game winning TD against Auburn, breaking his leg, and fumbling the ball.

Well, there's that too

But all that was in the rear-view mirror, and Mason's TD was in the waning moments of the game. Auburn actually had FSU where they wanted 'em, but I guess FSU's D was 5% more gassed than Auburn needed them to be, lol...I'm sure Malzahn was just gonna pound the rock right til the end, but no one expected Mason to bust loose like that. Once he scored, I was actually pretty terrified about what could happen next, and it turns out I was right to feel that way

I was there and was sitting with the players families. After Mason scored, it was a half hearted celebration with all of us looking at the clock.

One of our starting DL's dad looked at me and said "too much time left".

He was right.
