2020 - @ NC State
2021 - NC State
2022 - @ Arizona
2023 - Arizona
2024 - Arizona State
2025 - @ Arizona State
2026 - @ Minnesota
2027 - Minnesota
2028 - Texas Tech
2029 - @ Texas Tech

It pretty fitting. Not meaning this as a shot but its a lot of B level P5 teams which is what MSU is.

Was the scheduled at the same time the other one was scheduled?

No. When the other game was scheduled, Alabama was guaranteed an extra $1 million to hold this date open while the Cowboys and ESPN looked for an opponent. They only settled on USC as the opponent a couple of months ago.

ETA- Bama was guaranteed at least $1 mil more than the opponent with a $6.5 mil minimum.

Agreed. Should be some winnable games but not playing Kansas/Iowa State/Purdue/Oregon State every year

That is going to be epic. I love when big time programs from different regions square off. It's one thing when Clemson and Alabama play because they're culturally both southern schools. But seeing an SEC horde invade Big 10 or Pac 12 territory always makes me smile. Those guys think they know big time college football until an SEC school is knocking down their door.

A home-home with Notre Dame (2020, 2025) and a home game with Texas in 2021 are really the only big names we have lined up right now. Should be in the middle of a home-home with Michigan right now but instead had to switch it with Colorado State.

In addition to that, im sure we’ll get Clemson back on the schedule in this time frame.

It’s a shame Oh St pussied out on us leaving a gaping hole 2021-2024.

I wish P5 schools only played other P5 schools. UK might never have another winning season but it'd still be better than going 6-6 and playing in a crappy bowl.

I think it’s a good schedule for y’all. Hits in different parts of the country, in different leagues, which will allow different recruiting areas that maybe you don’t recruit as much. When you get a W it’s an easier sell in those areas.

@Minnesota would probably be a fun road trip in early September

New stadium, nice clean city with great weather that time of year, likely W, could possibly catch a game at Target Field
