Seeing Mississippi State go to 3 straight college World Series since he resigned (was fired for inappropriate behavior)

He was given the keys to a Lamborghini and wrecked it while texting and driving. He had a top job he could have had 20 years and let it slip away bc he couldn’t keep it in his pants.

Instead of coaching Omaha teams in the nicest ballpark on America in front of 14k fans. He’s coaching at a catholic high school in New Orleans in front of a couple hundred fans

Perhaps he should send his resume to Liberty.

Andy is just another victim of the little soldier in the purple helmet.

A man with a hard dick will go places a man with a gun will not.

What a shame.

It’s a shame…he would have won a National title here, but ya gotta keep your dick in your pants.

Cannizaro is a really good coach, It’s a shame what happened. I’m just glad he got us our hitting coach.

True but he chose the wrong way to go about it. He could have had his cake and eat it too but he wanted pie ice cream cobbler and pudding as well

Word was that her and Dan Mullen had a thing before Andy was hired. She was cute not worth losing a job name and career over and damaging your family over

Hiring Jake Gautreau and flipping Tanner Allen from LSU were the two biggest contributions Andy have to Mississippi State

As long as they’ve got a decent weight room he’s probably content.

That guy would have MSU and LSU eating out of his hand right now. Arguably the two biggest jobs in college baseball fighting tooth and nail over your services. Big time $. But he’s a frickin baw from Mandeville right ? What do you expect ?

I'm not really sure what to make of him. I think he did a good job with our hitters as an assistant, but he wasn't a head coach long enough for me to really get a read on how he'd manage an entire team and recruit over time.

I thought it was an interesting hire when State hired him after the 2016 season, and State did a great job making the super regionals after losing like 7 pitchers to TJ leading up to 2017 and during 2017. But I always wanted to see what he'd do after that year. It just seemed like that team came together, got hot, and played over their heads to get that far. Remember, they got sent out to Southern Miss as a 2 seed and played their way into the nsupers after losing their first game of the regional to USA.

Agree with this. State fans seem to think he was the 2nd coming but he was barely above .500 in the time he was there. It’s such a limited snapshot that it’s impossible to say either way.

I am ready for Cannizaro to get his 2nd chance. He can be the hitting coach @ A&M.

He was massively underperforming the season he was fired. He got ratted out for his affair with Mullen’s side piece because he was half-assing his coaching gig.

MSU’s season massively improved as a result of him being fired.
He probably could have been a good coach if he had an ounce of self-control, but that’s part of the job.
One of the reasons Nick Saban is the best is because he has avoided distractions.

If it wasn’t that girl it would have been another. He wasn’t SEC coaching material and the affair was just an excuse for Cohen to fire him for his poor on-field peformance.
