That's exactly what he said. They told him, "You aren't trying to win a powerlifting contest." lol It's ok to put on 30 lbs of muscle if you're an Olineman, but if you wanna keep that 4.4 speed, not so much.
Speaking of good-looking RBs, I think ol Haynes is gonna be a stud for you guys. I'm still disappointed he didn't follow his dad's footprints to UGA. He looks good.

You think the Ole Miss RB will have another good year or was a one year hit? I’m 50/50 on how good Judkins will be.

He looked pretty good to me...1500+ yds. But I haven't really looked at who all they lost on the Oline, if anybody. That'll determine I suppose if he'll put up those types of numbers again or not.

OMG like for real? That's amazing and unprecedented. This guy is just a one of kind freak of nature.

Just kidding.

Your comment just confirms you likely never played sports past puberty. Once weight training becomes part of team sports it is quite common for coaches to tell some guys to back off on certain lifting exercises because too much can be an impediment to maximizing the skillset needed for their sport/their position. This situation isn't unique.

Or maybe because of this?

We once had a 260 lbs RB who kept getting fatter as the season went on somehow. They definitely told him to chill eating. Jorvorskie Lane would of killed it in the SEC.

Why would you respond to me with such a condescending comment? You don't know me and I don't know you and I would not respond that way to you. But I'm a nice guy and don't do that sort of thing.
And for the record, I was actually a fitness trainer many years ago. I even personally trained a fella that actually walked on at UGA and was a nose guard. I'm not ignorant to these facts, I just thought it was an interesting comment.

It has more to do with Kinesiology than size or speed. And kinesiology really should be on every athlete’s radar.

Robinson has been compared more to Mark Ingram than anyone else because of his balance and ability to continue with runs after contact.

I think it’s absolutely fantastic that UGA has something to brag about after all these years…

chubb lived right up the street from me and I can tell you that I knew when he was in the 9th grade he was going to be an AA running back somewhere.

Man, you should get a job for UGA scouting junior high games if you have an eye like that. Can you imagine how much of a head start you could give them in recruiting if you can spot an NCAA All American when he's 14 years old.

It wouldn't shock me that most people knew Chubb would be an AA.

He was different.
Track speed in a weightlifter's frame.
And the work ethic to hone his craft so he doesn't just look like Tarzan.
