Imagine how bad they'd be if they hadn't cheated. Tennessee fans will be waxing poetic about the Butch years before all is said and done. Then we'll get to post pictures of him smoking victory cigars in the visitor's locker room at Neyland while being paid millions of dollars by Tennessee to do it. It'll be beautiful.

Can you help me out here?

What exactly is Tenn accused of doing that the NCAA is investigating?

I get that things are bad there, but do we really know how serious the violations are or to what extent much of this was a drive to fire the current HC?

Genuinely curious.

Pruitt lost too many games. If he was winning more, they wouldn't have hired a search firm to dig up dirt and look for excuses to fire him.

It took about 24 hours for volnation to finish dancing on Pruitt's grave. Then slowly, reality set in big time.

That was never going to happen. Being a head coach requires a different set of skills. Even most Bama fans will agree that when Jeremy Pruitt isn't coaching defense, he's dumber than a box of rocks.

They deserve everything that is about to happen to them. Actions have consequences.

No, I don't have to feel bad for UT. They didn't feel bad for us back in the Mumme days when we were on probation. Their mistake was bringing back the snitch rat. Hell, he probably came up with the McDonald's idea while eating 3 big Macs for lunch.

I may feel bad for their fans in a couple of years, but not the school.

Clay Travis lost a ton of credibility with that little power play. He essentially stopped a hire by accusing the man of being a kiddie raper enabler simply because he was on Penn State's campus when Sandusky was doing his thing. The guy had his reputation soiled and his name dragged through the mud simply because Travis wanted a splash hire. Obviously we'll never know how Schiano would have fared in Knoxville, but one thing is absolutely certain - they wouldn't be staring down the barrel of a gun right now

Or that it was testified to in court that he witnessed an act between Sandusky and a child and in response gave a meek denial. With an accusation like that, he should have been suing some folk for slander and libel. The fact that he didn’t speaks volumes. I would rather nuke the goddam program than be associated with anyone involved in a systematic pedo cover up.

Permanent Bama opponent.
Bama is not going to let them build a competitive program. Not as long as Saban is there.

I said when he was hired it would turn out to be a disaster. Pruitt teaming up with Fulmer was a slow motion car wreck

I still can’t believe they were paying Guarantano.
