I think we did 5 or 6 years ago at Ole Miss - I could be 100% wrong though.
ETA: LSU wore Purple at Vandy in 2019.
ETA2: I have been super surprised how traditional Kiffin has been with the uniforms this year, especially at how much Kelly would throw shite at the wall (all games this year have been traditional Y-W-Y or Y-P-Y - no white pants or helmets at all).

These were the worst uniforms ever!

Red is one of the three colors on the American flag, but since you're a monarchist I can understand why you'd prefer purple.

No, the home team already has most of the advantages when playing in their venue. This give some limited control to the visitors.
You just don't like it because your team and fans are arrogant enough to they they DESERVE to wear whatever they want to wherever they want to and that's just not the case.
So take your short bus comment and shove it up your neck...
Of all the hills to die on. What a clown. Since October of 1999 when Roy Kramer stepped in for SEC games -- SEC vs SEC the home team decides what color uniform to wear. Opponent has to agree in non-conference games. In fact, Oregon State refused to wear dark vs LSU in Tiger Stadium in 2004.

And per the NCAA rules, the visitor can still say no, no matter what the SEC says. People just don't tell LSU no, because they are cowards.

So South Carolina was a coward last fall?

Nobody wants to be subjected to that awful looking uniform. Not even LSU.
Just let LSU wear their one decent looking uniform.

Ok, you got me. BTW, we are having a dinner party this weekend. What would you like my wife to cook for you? It's a black-tie affair, but feel free to wear whatever you like.

I thought the Bama/Tennessee combo looked great. Not enough of a contrast for LSU/Auburn to pull it off.

No, the worst uniform ever was the shiny purple pants worn at Kentucky.

Call it a tie. Gerry DiNardo had ZERO fashion sense. NONE!

It is "monarchist," and I can spell it.

A lot of the old school, superstitious fans hate them because they bring "bad luck." The fact that we sucked for nearly a decade will do that to them. I actually like them.

Did you guys ever wear the orange jerseys? I remember hearing a few years back that it was being discussed.

That's great and we're all very proud of you. Are you trying to imply that I misspelled it? Put on your reading glasses and look again.
