Missouri/Georgia 2015 in Athens. Missouri lost 9-6. Missouri intercepts GA on the first play of the game and returns it to the once inch line and couldn't score on four consecutive plays.

This one has been mentioned multiple times. I felt the need to take a shower after that game. There was no celebrating that "win". It felt like a loss.

2012 pick any game. People shite on Gus some for good reason but I can honestly say he’s never lost the football team like Gene Chizik did that year. So many rumors of what was going on behind the scenes.

2008 UT-Auburn in Jordan Hare. An embarrassment to football.

I mean, you are beating the crap out of OU in a playoff game in route to a national title. Did you want a nail biter or something??

I personally enjoyed that game, but a top 20 caliber opponent would have been nice for a CFP game

1992 ATM at LSU. Ridiculously hot, 2:30 kickoff. Worst LSU team I've ever seen.

That was my first A&M season as a college student. The team started at #7 and went undefeated through the regular season. We crawled down to #4 in the country and We all thought we were getting jobbed in the rankings. Jerome Bettis then ran all over our asses in the Cotton Bowl.

To the question though, It probably the 1994 A&M Rice game. We won 7-0 in a one of the worst displays of football I have seen on both sides of the ball. Young Steve Ensminger and Tommy Tuberville were the coordinators. Rice blew arse as always and we had some of the best talent in the history of the program.

We would go on to tie a post-death penalty SMU team the next week in the Astrodome. The entire squad and coaching staff seemed to just take a few weeks off.

I can imagine 1997 was okay...Robert Edwards game

Robert Edwards was a boss in 97. The 1993 game was pretty good even though we lost.

That Kansas State-Kansas game in 1987 was probably record wise the true "Toilet Bowl", but the 1983 Civil War between Oregon and Oregon State was probably the worst major college football game in the last 50 years.
quote:

Due to the poor play—including eleven turnovers and four missed field goals—and miserable weather conditions in which it was played, the game is often referred to as the Toilet Bowl

It will go down as the last 0-0 final

MSU @ Nebraska - 9-6 Final in the Snow. That said - Lincoln was a damn cool place to watch a game.

State didn’t throw a pass in the second half of that game. Florida could not stop them between the 20s

Alabama/Florida St in Jacksonville in 2007. It was one of the first "big" neutral site games. It was Saban's first year, so we were excited, but we weren't very good (it was the week after we lost at home to UGA in OT). Florida State was at the end of the Bowden rut.

The game itself was just as slop fest. 0-0 at halftime, and not because of great defenses. Both fanbases were pretty sarcastic and jaded and I vividly remember all of us (Bammers and Noles) basically talking shite about our teams together in a bit of a bonding experience.

It was just all in all depressing.

Without a doubt. This was the weirdest atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a game. It’s hard to describe. But everyone was just blah

The 2014 and 2015 UF games were complete shite shows.

'14 was the first nail in Richt's coffin
and '15 was the last.

Imagine the predicament FSU was in: fire the legendary coach who basically is your program or let him continue to drag you through mediocrity so he can catch Paterno's win record

That day was also the first time Alabama and Auburn played road games in the same state. Auburn was on a two game losing streak heading into the Swamp vs Tebow and Urban. Auburn walked in and won on a field goal by a freshman kicker. Same guy kicked the winner for the National Championship. Wes Byrum his name
