Worst one involving an SEC team, Florida vs Iowa 2006 Outback Bowl
First, not a correct statement. Worst was the Swindle in the Swamp. And it's not even close.
Second, don't blame the officials for this Iowa / UF game. Hernandez had a talk with them before the game.

Well here is your turn to post up some of those screwings... seeing as I lead off with a game not involving Alabama.
I'm not talking about anything refs have done to Bama. I am talking about how this thread will devolve into talking about how the refs work for Bama.

The Michigan/SC measurement was pretty freakin' terrible...
Terrible measurement
What makes this so great is the Clowney hit was on the very next play. You can tell he was pissed and motivated after getting screwed by refs

Every LSU game. It's like a 14 vs 11 matchup with the refs playing for LSU's opponent. More like 17 vs 11 if you count the replay booth, or even 19 vs 11 if you count the announcers who insist the bad calls were correct.

The onside kick was the only bad call in UF vs Iowa.

The Arkansas/UF 2009 game stands out because it wasn't just one bad call, but a series of them.
Many games have one blown call that fans remember and get upset about, however that game Arkansas got raked over the goals by the refs the whole game, and 2-3 times terribly in the 4th quarter when it's clear the game was seriously in doubt.
Florida was on the wrong side of another infamous game themselves, the 2003 FSU/UF game (the Swindle in the Swamp). There were multiple blown calls, all very egregious, all very game impacting, and all went FSU's way.
The important distinction is that there's a difference between simple the worst calls ever vs. worst games ever, which involve games that had an avalanche of bad calls.

The 2009 Ark/UF game is the only time I can remember an entire crew being suspended for its bias.

Ole Miss was playing at Alabama in 2011 or 2012 and the officials picked up an obvious intentional grounding flag ... Blatantly obvious grounding penalty on the QB... Loss of down and spot of the foul... Instead, The official said these words as he waved the flag off "There is no flag for intentional grounding on the play, the receiver ran the wrong route." I can watch college football games every single Saturday all day long for the next 50 years and I'll never see that happen again ... It was the most ridiculous explanation I've ever seen in all my years of watching football.

The 1995 Alabama/Arkansas game the crew got suspended too.
Bama was up like 19-13 very late in the game and Arkansas completed a 4th and 20'ish pass to keep their last drive alive with 12 men, which was missed by the officials. Not just 12 men on the field, but 12 men actively participating in the play.
Then of course more notably they drove down the field and 'caught' the game winning TD pass on 4th down on a really obvious trap.
no instant replay back then of course.
The game was largely meaningless for Alabama, as we were on probation that year anyway, but still kinda sucks to lose a game solely due to two huge officiating screw ups on the last drive.
The refs were suspended more for the blown 12 men miss than the trap though.

So you're saying that the Iowa WR that got dragged down by his face mask was rightfully penalized for committing face mask?
And you're saying it's okay to push a WR out of bounds while he's still in the air?

I was going to post with this game before I even opened the thread.
That was downright awful to watch.

For a conference game, the 2006 LSU at Auburn game is the worst for a game with 7-10 badly missed calls that cost LSU a victory.
