Have to be a UF score from the Spurrier years. They put up crazy number for that time period.

Bama doesn't really take beatdowns.....last complete and utter beatdown of Bama was in the early 90's when Spurrier blew Stallings out 35-0. That one stands out for some reason.....There are probably others just can't recall......

LSU beat Alabama 27-0 in 1997 and 27-3 in 2003. It doesn't happen often and hasn't in a long time but it does happen.

We hung 62 on UT in 95. "Only" ended up winning by 25 but both teams finished #2 and #3 that season.
Of course they beat us 45-3 in 90. We had the best record but were ineligible to win the SEC so UT played in the Sugar instead.

When Coach Butts got waivers so his players didn't have to go fight in WW2.

I honestly felt bad for Chizik during that 2012 game.

It was the train wreck that everybody knew was coming and it delivered. That team quit 5 games beforehand.

ETA: Look at the time left in the game.

If you Google it, there are articles from various newspapers from Los Angeles to Orlando about the game. Here are a few quotes from the Sun Sentinel in Orlando:

`
quote:

I`ve never been around a game like that, one that was totally played by every player, every coach, everyone connected with this team,`` Auburn coach Pat Dye said.

``I just hope we can come back on the ground and get ready to play Florida State.``

Auburn rolled up 606 yards of offense (438 rushing) and got 39 first downs -- including an Southeastern Conference record 28 by rushing -- while limiting the Rebels (2-2-1) to only 9 yards.

Rebels coach Billy Brewer seemed shocked after the game.

``I was afraid a sleeping giant would wake up -- they did tonight,`` he said.

``If I had Bo Jackson, I would give him the ball 48 times a game. We`re not a bad tackling team, but he made us look bad.``

What is it?

Not just talking score, but lopsided total destruction.

My vote goes AU vs Ole Miss in 1985

AU won 41-0, but there is more:

Ole Miss did not get a first down after the second play of the game and was outgained 606-9.

AU ran over 100 plays, Ole Miss less than 30.

AU had 39 first down including an SEC record 29 rushing.

Bo had 170 yards rushing. At halftime.

Auburn never punted. The entire game.

No doubt this is the worst beatdown I've seen between two SEC teams. It was like a NFL team vs a pee-wee team, and it was live in primetime on ESPN.

You must not have counted this year's games doing the SEC West, because Bama-66 OM-3 and State-35 A&M-14 both would have made the list.

As noted before, AU was absolutely furious going into that game. Pat Dye and Bo Jackson were singled out and ripped apart by sports illustrated the Monday before the game after losing to Tennessee as the #1 ranked team. Dye couldn't coach and Bo Jackson was a coward and quitter according to SI.

That was a bad Ole Miss team that caught a very good, humiliated AU team with a furious Bo Jackson at exactly the wrong time.

Ole Miss vs. State 2008 was a good one.

Ole Miss won 45-0 in Sylvester Croom's final game as State's head coach. We outgained State 461-24 (State had 29 yards at the half, they actually had -5 yards in the second), Jevan Snead threw 4 touchdowns, and held State to -69 rushing yards. It was the most lopsided Egg Bowl in 37 years, as in 1981 the Dawgs beat us 48-0.

Yep. Alabama could have ran the score up even more. Considering the history of that game, that gets my vote. That Auburn team had absolutely zero fight in it.

that might get my vote, too. That was savage. "41-0" isn't THAT horrible, but the total destruction of that game was on line with 84-0. ESPN showed it that night and they showed the Ole Miss QB on the bench crying. Not making fun of the guy in the least, but that was a humiliating game.

This year's Alabama-Vandy game is up there. LSU vs Ole Miss in 1982 was pretty brutal. 31-0 at halftime and Ole Miss wound up with -30 yards rushing.

Alabama thumped Arkansas in consecutive years when Arkansas was coached by John L. Smith in 2012 and then Bret Bielema in 2013. They scored 100+ points against the Hogs in consecutive years and Arkansas didn't score a point in either game.

Amazingly Bielema wasn't fired after that 2013 season after successfully going winless in the SEC. The entire SEC.
