Alabama has weirdly saved abysmal performances for the LaMo and UCFs of the world, in the past
In 2003 in Athens we scored 37 points in the first half which I believe is the most points ever scored in a half against alabama. We eased off the gas and didn't score in the second half but that one could have been a lot worse.

LSU-Ole Miss 2011 was the worst I've seen in person from LSU.
Mercy knee in the red zone with 5 minutes to play. 52-3 final.
Holy frick that was a bad one.

In 2012 A&M, uga and bama could have scored 100 on that team of quitters. It was an embarrassment.

AU won 41-0, but there is more:
Ole Miss did not get a first down after the second play of the game and was outgained 606-9.
AU ran over 100 plays, Ole Miss less than 30.
AU had 39 first down including an SEC record 29 rushing.
Bo had 170 yards rushing. At halftime.
Auburn never punted. The entire game.
I can't imagine this being topped. That is mind boggling!

As a fan a year like that is so embarrassing and disappointing...but Auburn was not dominated like that Auburn/Ole Miss game.

Additional fun stat from that game.
AU ran 87 rushing plays. Not sure if that is an SEC record, but may be.

AU-MSU (3-2) vs College Football. It set football back 30 years.

The worst I remember seeing (on TV) was our loss to Florida in 2001. We were down 21-0 around 10 minutes or so into the game and were down 35-0 at the half. What makes that particular loss worse than other losses is that we were actually ranked at that time and were picked by some folks to win the West that year. We lost 52-0 and it felt like it could have been worse.
