What is it?

Not just talking score, but lopsided total destruction.

My vote goes AU vs Ole Miss in 1985

AU won 41-0, but there is more:

Ole Miss did not get a first down after the second play of the game and was outgained 606-9.

AU ran over 100 plays, Ole Miss less than 30.

AU had 39 first down including an SEC record 29 rushing.

Bo had 170 yards rushing. At halftime.

Auburn never punted. The entire game.

49-0 Iron Bowl was pretty damn bad.

I can think of a few Spurrier-coached UF games that would apply.

He was on a roll at UF for awhile, running up scores, and no one had an answer.

On October 20, 1906, Vanderbilt beat Alabama by a score of 78-0.

Yep, Saban had mercy, the starters scored a TD every time they had the ball. We played the 3rd string offense the last 20 minutes of the game. It would have been a 77-0 massacre if the starters had played another quarter.

Bama - Vandy this year was complete domination.

Back then, teams like Sewanee and Vandy were monsters.

I think so. AU was ranked #1 and embarrassed by Tennessee in Knoxville which made the cover of sports illustrated (back when that was a big deal) the previous week, so AU was a bit on the angry side for that game. And Bo was angry as the SI article said he quit in the 4th quarter vs UT.

Alabama-Auburn 2012 was in that zip code. Legitimately could have been 77-0.

Alabama-Ole Miss and Alabama-Vandy this year too.

No, this was a humiliation. OP asked for beatdowns.

So definitely a motivated beatdown. And y'all took it out on poor, hapless Ole Miss.

3-2. Both teams were beat down by every college football fan and sports reporter. Great game though.
