Some... Yes.

Most of us... No.

What about you? You sound awfully interested in MSU folks and what they do.

As for myself, I will read these posts but don't really care for any more stories until something comes out that sticks.

That one's got to be bullshite. I've said it before - There's no way an athiest girl in a Christian school was forced to disrobe in front of an administrator without her parents involving the ACLU, the police, and the media.

I'd say paddling a female student (even if there was no sexual implications involved) would be wrong. You get a female employee of the school to do that.

My personal experience (in public school) was that only two persons were allowed to administer corporal punishment. Both were men. Girls were not usually subjected to corporal punishment, but if they chose it as an alternative punishment, it was administered by one of those two men.

Wasn't the case at my school. The Principle and Coaches would light that arse up regardless of gender.

Maybe the girl was too embarassed or scared to tell her parents at the time. My kids are all grown now and they tell me stuff that happened when they were in high school that they didn't want me to know at the time. They knew I would have handled it and they didn't want it to be a big deal. It was mostly small stuff that they preferred to handle themselves.

It sounds like a bunch of whiny millennials who didn't like a coach because he made them abide by the rules. But, if there is something to the Briacrest "rumors" this would be the most troubling thing I see in the article:

You think it's appropriate for a grown man, in a position of authority, have a young girl remove her shirt in front of him? I suppose you would be ok if a man asked that of your daughter.
This isn't about "millennials" or abiding by the rules.
Then again, you probably think it was okay for Trump to enter contestants dressing rooms.
I am not sure whether you think it's macho or you think it's just good "Christian" discipline.

This entire thread is a load of crap, and the hypocrites falling all over it is a perfect example of one of the worst parts of human nature.

Pedophile?? Gimme a break. There was NOTHING in that story that even hinted at pedophilia.

You're the kind of lynch mob, rat bastard that isn't satisified with just letting a man pay for his trangressions, you've got to try to gin up bullshite to totally destroy him. Pathetic.

What? You are probably from the "No Corporal Punishment" camp. If you see this as a big deal, or any deal, we can only hope there aren't too many like you.

Assuming these stories are false, you don't think Freeze has already paid enough by losing his job and credibility? You're insane if you don't think he has paid for his mistakes

1. Freeze should have handled the shirt incident differently
2. The paddling thing is no big deal for schools that allowed paddling at that time
3. The writer of this story, Josh Peter is a known hack always trying to generate the biggest "scandal" so he can get "famous"

From Briarcrest
"Many of you may already be aware of an article that was published in today’s edition of USA Today. In this article, reporter Josh Peter claims to have interviewed three former Briarcrest students who have alleged inappropriate personal conduct by Hugh Freeze during his time at Briarcrest from 1992 to 2005. We have personally spoken to all former heads of school and many other former administrators who all say that they are unaware of any allegations against Coach Freeze regarding inappropriate personal conduct during his tenure at Briarcrest. It is important for everyone to understand that Briarcrest will always take any such allegations seriously and deal with them appropriately."

Man. Anyone else amazed that a 9 year old is in the 8th grade ?
