Very bad logistical miscalculation by Lord Saban. It left the Death Star exposed and Clemson capitalized on this to blow it out of space.

No...with Kiffin, Bama has about 10 more negative plays.

You can point to a million different reasons why a team loses with 1 second left

He would have aired it out early and tired The Clemson Defense. Bama would have then ran it down their throats late in the game. Sarkesian called the game like Cam Cameron would have.

The Angry Midget has lost with 1 second left twice in recent history.

And also won more national championships than LSU has in their entire 120 year history. Melt it up.

Here's a new one... melting while claiming another is melting.

I don't think much would have changed. I would rather have had Eddie Jackson back.

You forgetting Bama's offense (and Hurts specifically) struggled in the Washington game even with Kiffin?
Even if Kiffin was still the OC, the offense would've still been pretty much one dimensional because they can't throw.

They would have won with Kiffin. He masked a lot of the deficiencies in the Bama offense.

Not melting nor am I trolling. Stating a hard cold fact.

You still mad about Auburn's Kick Six

At least they had a second left.

Players: Coach call time out the clock is running with only 29 seconds

30 seconds later

Miles: Spike it

Kiffin didn't have anything to do with the defense.

1. Clemson went a perfect 4 for 4 on converting trips inside the Alabama 20 into touchdowns.

2. 31 first downs

3. 4 receivers with 90+ yds

4. If Clemson doesn't turn the ball over twice this game isn't close.

Alabama lost a whopping 3 games with Lane Kiffin as OC in 3 years. That's less losses than 13 of the 14 SEC teams had just this one reason. I don't recall an OC being canned a week before a national championship (from an undefeated team nonetheless), and the one time masterful Nick Saban does it, he loses his very first national championship game.

Lane Kiffin could've very well called the game of his life last night, but Alabama fans will refuse to ponder the thought as they have convinced themselves they would've lost by more because their offense didn't look so great against Washington.

Hurts is the best I've seen at throwing to wide open guys.

Other than that, he's meh at best.

Before I get bashed, I realize he's a freshman and without a doubt he will get better the next 3 years.

How? Hurts has struggled all year as a passer, not just the Washington game. Bama had to throw to win, and even with Kiffin that wouldn't have happened because Hurts struggles to throw the ball beyond 10 yards.

Don't worry

Also, UF already lives rent free in LSU's empty head and keeps getting better.

LSU is irrelevant.
