2039 will mark 100 years since their last national championship. Can they break through or will the drought hit triple digits?

All I can do is take comfort in the fact that we have the resources to actually win one at some point.

Better question-
Will piggie ever have a winning SEC season again?
Even better question-
Will piggie beat A&M before they win a nattie?

I think in the modern NIL/portal era as currently constituted, they are bound to
That being said, if at some point guard rails get put in place on the NIL and Portal via collective bargaining/anti-trust or something of that nature, I think this would hurt them more than other large, big spender universities like OSU
on the other hand I think it would help schools like Bama if guard rails were put up

certain schools have already shown they are unafraid of paying players under the table

Yes, and when all things are equal, things that mattered before NIL/portal jumped the shark will become important again, if only to a lesser degree
It will never be like it was, but it can be better than it is
