Stet is clutch. Fromm wasnt.
Stet is fast. Fromm wasnt.
Stet is fearless. Fromm wasnt.
Stet is accurate. Fromm less so.
Stet is under 6 ft. Fromm wasnt.
Stet is white. Fromm is white.
Stet is a Georgian. Fromm is a Georgian.
Stet struggled in Jax. Fromm didnt.

Seems a lot of projections have him going 6th, 7th round or maybe not at all.
Saw one scout compared him to Jake Fromm without the height.
Does the board think he's played his way into being a late round selection?
Will LSU win a championship within 3 years?

bullshite. Fromm was clutch on that last regulation drive vs. OU in the playoff. He also delivered in some huge moments vs. UF and made some plays in the last part of the game in his first start ever, which was at South Bend. Just because he didn't do it vs. Bama in his two attempts does not mean he never could. BTW, his first two games vs. Bama were a lot better than SBIVs first two and that's all Jake got.
Stet is fast. Fromm wasnt.
This is true and obvious, but I'm even saying from a passing standpoint Stetson is better.
Stet is fearless. Fromm wasnt.
This is cliche.
Stet is accurate. Fromm less so.
Barely, if you're going by completion pct.

No, the Russian Ukraine thing didn’t spiral out of control and Bennett is a couple of months away from aging out of selective service. The draft would only affect those 18-25. And let’s be real, Bennett would just stay in school for a deferment or seek sanctuary in Canada if the draft was a real concern.

Stetson Bennett will be drafted in the NFL.
And the melt will be glorious.

When we needed a clutch drive to win a championship vs Bama in 2017 and 2018, he crumbled.

When we needed a first down to likely put Bama way in 2018, he slid short of it. SLID.

When a great play was called early vs the elite LSu team, he missed a wide open WR.
Bennett was that guy we were missing.

He’s way better than Fromm. That’s a very lazy comparison. They aren’t even similar athletically.

NFL is hungry for QB's. Last year's class was disappointing.
He'll get drafted, probably higher than expected. Accurate arm, quick on his feet. That's always valuable.

No franchise is drafting a 5'7 physical and mental midget who folds under pressure. NFL has a level playing field, he won't have all day to throw like he did in college.
This right here sums up 10RC fans.

I think the real question is where will he get drafted. Someone will take a chance on him

It's pointless to argue with you man because you will not concede anything even though you are wrong. And you usually argue in cliche and with opinionated statements that you back up with one thing while completely ignoring other things that are contrary to your opinion.
Most Dawgs still considered the Rose Bowl 2018 as the best Dawg game they ever attended. He was a freshman and made two huge plays on the final drive in regulation to send it to overtime. That was remarkable and not a timid guy.
His Oline did him no favors vs. Bama late. We were consistently getting beat right up the gut in both games, which is the worst thing for a pocket passer.
LSU? We were completely outmanned and had terrible offensive play calling all year long. There were far more dropped passes in that game than overthrows.
We had a lead going into half vs. Bama in 2020 and Stetson made some horrible decisions in the second half that prevented us from staying in that game.
Stet's the greatest UGA QB all-time and a legend. Walker is the only Georgia player since I've been alive that would even come close to being a bigger deal than Stet.
That doesn't mean others were shite though.
Every QB that loses a football game to a great team is not a choker. Alabama had the better roster in both games. Fromm's play in the SECCG is the only reason we had a chance to win through three quarters.

I've seen some project him in the 4th round. Pretty sure he will be drafted. But even a discussion of the possibility is a move forward in the right direction. 2 years ago the Rant assured us we would never win a Championship with Bennett as our QB.
Then we were told we won only because of our generational defense.
Preseason we were told we would lose 2-3 games because we would not have that generational defense to bail Bennett out.
Now we are being told that our defense was crap and we won only because of our offense, but only because we had great players surrounding Bennett.
Now, he might actually get drafted in the 7th round?

I'm curious who you're referring to, because that description absolutely does NOT refer to Bennett.

Stetson is better than Fromm easily. He will be drafted, make a team and be a backup qb.

Who is declaring early dawg fans? Y’all getting Jones and Van pran back on offense?
Posted on 1/12/23 at 8:09 am to SidewalkTiger
I think he'll make a solid backup in the pros with a shot to get a start. Ultimately it depends if a team is in the market for his style of QB play as either a project or a backup.
Presuming there is, I'd see him 4th to 5th round.
But I would have never guessed Mac Jones going in the first round either (and I'm a huge Bama fan), so wtf do I know?

he is absolutely drafted. If i am the falcons, i take him. Dude did things in Georgia no Qb could do in 42 years... win a championship. Ridder is not doing that for the falcons
I said it earlier, the Falcons will draft him to sell tickets to all the GA fans.
Unfortunately I am a lifelong Falcons fans and had serious doubts about Ridder, especially what Bama did to him in CFP the year before.
Ridder played 4 games and impressed me in the last 2 1/2. I think they stick with him and draft defense which is what they need.

Jones is a 1st rounder. He should be gone.
Rumors are Van Pran may come back which would be huge.
We probably lose Jalen Carter, Warren McClendon, Darnell Washington, Kelee Ringo.
It could have been worse if it wasn't for injuries (AD Mitchell, Tate Ratledge).
I heard on the radio that we should return 15 starters. And with our 2 deep, it really isn't even that bad.
