Dude isn’t 5’11. 5’10 is being generous. And he doesn’t have the Arm or athletic ability to compensate for his height. He’s not going to the combine because he’s closer to 5’9.5 than 5’11 and just doesn’t have the measurables in any way that would help him and there is no drill he could do to help him. He doesn’t have any measurable value to an NFL franchise.

Is the opposite of Bennett. He has all the measurables and the upside but has never shown that he can win. 6’3 230 but needs a decent coach and guys around him. He has the arm, athleticism, and size to be a project for someone. He shouldn’t be a 1st rounder by any stretch but he would be a solid 3rd round guy with a huge upside.

Honest question. Do you ever get tired of being wrong? It’s quite an accomplishment that someone can function and be as wrong as you are about most things

What do you feel I’m wrong about? That the draft stops at 25? That’s a matter of public record. That Bennett shouldn’t be drafted? That’s an opinion based on his very low ceiling and lack of measurables, with no mitigating skills ie arm strength or athleticism. Will he be drafted? Probably. Because there are draft busts/mistakes every year. Aaron Murray was a shorter than ideal UGA QB but had the great arm talent that overcame being considered too short for the NFL. He he stays healthy, he would have been the poster child for shorter QBs in the NFL. Jake Fromm is UGA guy with marginal measurements that was drafted at 6’1.5 with an average or worse arm and marginal athleticism but he had a higher football IQ to help him. Bennett is 3-4 inches shorter with none of the mitigating skills. I’m surprised Fromm hasn’t gone into coaching because that looks like a better future for him. Bennett just doesn’t have the measurables or the skills to justify drafting him.
Try to look at this objectively, other than the fact he plays for a team you support, why do you feel he has an NFL future.

Or was it his long td run vs the vols?
