And why would I need to exit stage left? I clicked on the link and gave an honest opinion. The op was bragging about the recruiting, and though it appears to be pretty good, it ain't killing it. Dooley has nothing to do with this thread or my assessment. I do fully expect Scar to have a significant better recruiting class than Mizzou though.

You guys have ranked 19th or better once since the 2013 class, so I mean it's really not an insult to say a top 20 class would be good for SC.
That in and of itself is true. This class will be a top 15 class at least. The aspect of recruiting that no one is mentioning in terms of us, is one that is commonplace for schools who do recruit at a high level year after year. Players getting "processed".
We do have a lot of players committed but we lead/are in the running for:
4* WR Keveon Mullins
4* OL Warren McClendon
4* DE Savion Jackson
4* DE Dante Walker
4* DE Curtis Fann
4* LB Kalen Deloach
4* CB Jaydon Hill
Yes the way the class looks right now isn't all that impressive with the # of non blue chippers and i wouldn't expect other fanbases to know who we are in on, but like all of you have said, this is july not December/February. I would put money on more of these guys signing with us than not.

Even if you got four of those guys it would be a tremendous class for South Carolina. More 9 or 10 win seasons and top ten classes could be a regular thing. That win over Michigan last year was a tremendous win for South Carolina, and the conference as a whole.

Recruiting never was Muschamp's problem.

Recruiting on offense certainly was part of it, no?

To an extent, but the issue wasn't the talent IMO, but more the offensive plan.

Every team can say this . Most of The big name programs in the conference will pass you guy by the end of signing day . Some of these better recruiting schools like UF , Tennessee , A&M have new coaching staffs . If you guys want to get you hopes up go for it but you will still end with a average class.

#4 in the country for 2019 class, built quality depth on defense and playmakers on offense all across the board. UGA second game of the season will be electric at the Brice. Can still win the east win or lose because schedule very favorable.
Did y'all expect BOOM and TRob to turn this thing around so quickly?
It's been 3 weeks since the OP. Can you give us an update on the class ranking now?

If by killing it you mean USCe's football program, in the short term atleast, then yes.

If you look at the ones that have moved-up recently, at their total commitments combined with their points totals, it's pretty clear to see, especially when you look at all the high 4*s remaining on our board ... that Boom will finish very strong and SC will finish somewhere in the 10-14 range.
We'll take that all day long given then DLinemen he's bringing-in, the LBs, the big time QB, the CBs ... he's putting together a very strong class.
Happy to see Vol fans monitoring our class (out of fear no doubt) and .... thanks for the bump.
Times sure have changed.

Very little has changed. Uga/Uf/It will finish 1 2 3 in the East in recruiting in some order (probably that order) and USC will be 4th. Same as it has been for 15 years.

That would be remarkable if you guys went 11-1/10-2. Sure wins 3(CC,UTC,and Marshall ) favored by atleast a td(@Vandy) favored by 3 or less (@KY,TN,Miz)toss up (A&M,@OM). Underdog (@Fl,@Clm,Uga). 9-3, would be a very good year,8-4 a good year. 10 or 11 would be a reach.
