This may shock you but most Alabama fans are massive hypocrites.

It's interesting how they think pre 2000 results are an indicator of how the future will be.

LSU was not an elite program pre 2000, they didn't have elite facilities, they didn't recruit elite classes.

The programs themselves are much more evenly matched now, it all depends on what kind of coaching each school gets.

That's a bit hyperbolic. Why do you keep getting in the gutter with these threads and the nonsense of a few of the posters on both sides?

It's one man yelling at a fence post in another pasture and another doing the same in his.

All of the pots and the kettles here are black. Our Southern culture and national stereotypes are not restrained by arbitrary state lines or university affiliation.

All that said, for good or bad, our pasts define our present and inform the decisions that shape our future.

You really can't talk about today without an appreciation for the past. Or, at least, you shouldn't if you want to understand today.

And Ray Perkins won 10 in year 4 post-Bear. So we had two 10-win seasons in 7 years.

I expect history will repeat itself. Alabama will continue to dominate LSU.

How about we look at the years just prior to Saban at Alabama:

Looks like Bama went a combined 5-19 against your top rivals.

Yes, I too expect history to repeat itself.

Go look up how many times Bama beat LSU with. Bear and Saban as your coach.
Then look up how many times Bama won without those two as your coach.

During the period 1983 and 2006, The series record was 12-11-1. Guess who the 12 was, dumbass?

Hiring a no name coach from South Bend who just got blown out in the biggest game of his career is not too good

Fixed it for LSU fans

I thought you were going to ask if Bama would put a hundo on your b-ball team again. The answer is yes.

Exactly! That was the point of this entire post. Why are Bama fans having so much trouble understanding this. I’ll say it again, without Bear and Saban LSU and Bama are basically even. Now with Saban gone it’s back to even.

From 1982 to 2007, Alabama was...

...12-13-1 vs LSU.
...11-14-1 vs Auburn.
...10-16 vs Tennessee.

For a grand total of 33-43-2, with a win percentage of 44%, vs their 3 biggest rivals.

Man are you really this clueless?
That exactly what I’m saying, two 10 win seasons over a 7 year period before Saban. Under Saban, Bama had 16 ten win seasons. Now that he’s gone you’ll be back to ten win seasons every few years. It’s over.

Bryant was at Alabama in 1982 and Saban was at Alabama in 2007. Who won those games?

Oh yeah, LSU did. But that doesn't bolster the argument how the series will run WITHOUT Bryant or Saban, since they were included in your time frame.

Bama was 10-14 vs AU and UT between Bryant and Saban.

This is EXACTLY what the OP is saying the future will be in his thread topic!
It's absolutely amazing how obtuse some of you swamp scum are! You've gotta know that the LSU fans with an I.Q. over their shoe size have to wince when they see your names on threads around here.
