The point is clear, you would have a shaky record in the west

I’m just saying, I watched the 2019 LSU Tigers be the greatest of all time and after a big exodus ….then have these last two seasons happen
That obviously left an impact on your psyche.

A successful NC season does not ensure the next one or two are going to be as good.
You are correct. It doesnt.
But multiple elite recruiting classes and elite coaching does help ensure the next season is going to be good.

This is a really strange thread.
I've never understood the dislike LSU fans have for UGA on here. I've never really had anything against LSU. Not a rival of ours. Generally enjoyed being around their fans. Heard some horror stories, but have never experienced any myself with LSU fans or any fans of other SEC schools.
The thread itself reminds me of the Kirby/MR comparisons the last couple of years. It was obvious that the program was a good head and shoulders above where MR took it. MR did not have to compete with the monster Saban had created in Tuscaloosa in his early years.
Again, these other schools that won titles were mostly finding lightning in a bottle. Nothing wrong with that, but the titles came out of nowhere. They weren't starting out as a top five contender with the exception being UF and LSU (which lost two games to slightly above average teams, not juggernauts in their 2007 run) which the OP pointed out is the outlier.
Georgia has been far superior to any of those schools leading up to their title year except UF. The blueprint that led to the title last year is still there. Will it lead to others? Time will tell. But it won't allow the team to just fall apart like Auburn 2011 or LSU 2020. Les was not a bad coach, probably underrated, but not the organizer Kirby is. He's obsessed with it. Just like the guy he used to work for.

Dude looked scared as shite in that PC recently, he knows he has a mini rebuild Yall keep living with your heads in the sand. I’ll trust your coaches opinion instead of yours NIL and transfer rule are not doing Kirby favors right now he straight up admitted that. And hell yes, you dogs would have a much harder time having the same records if you played in the west and you know it.

Georgia is in a better position than the others were.
2009 Florida was in a much better position than Georgia is this year. Percy Harvin left but most of the other big names came back.

I mean, it's cool and all you care, but in the words of the not so great Paul Johnson, Don't you "have bigger fish to fry?"
You been letting your old coach crap on you for nearly a whole decade. And the guy you got now is not really known as a recruiting whiz. New guy is doing better at it in South Bend.

You don't think its a relevant stat that SEC Defending National Champions not named Bama have averaged an 8.5 and 4 record while Bama as defending champion has averaged 12.67 and 1.67?
Flukes built on a house of cards don’t apply to a house built in the style of saban.

also important to note that kirby is exponentially better of a coach than miles, chizik, or orgeron

I can't really complain about being #12 currently with only 6 commits in his first full year.

Would you rather him going around town getting drunk and banging random 59 year old women? Because that level of macho bravado destroyed your program.

Whatever. Had Championship, don't care.
I've proven I can wait 41 years for a National Championship, so I will be fine regardless.
Having said that, there is no other program not named Alabama with a higher ceiling or better looking future than Georgia right now - regardless of our record next season.

O will be able to use this “lightning in a bottle” as a great motivator... How do you motivate those returning after the best season ever? Tell them everyone thinks this was just lightning in a bottle. I swear, no one ever learns when it comes to LSU. We comin...AGAIN!

I love seeing all these players on watchlists for awards....
Everyday we see more LSU players being recognized as possibly the best at their position this year. And this is with all that we lost to boot. O is the man! And boy can he develop talent.

But let's follow it up with:

LSU/Bama 2021 football schedules
I was looking at the schedules and I really like how things set up for the Tigers next year. Bama is going to have to break in a lot of new players on offense, something we thankfully won’t be doing. Bama also has Miami to start the season and with King coming back let’s see what happens there. I really like us versus UCLA to start the season too. But, what I really find interesting is that we have Florida, AU and Texas A&M all at home....while Bama has them all on the road. Bring on 2021, gonna be a good one!

Murph, I appreciate your effort but you don't really need to prove the point that there are many delusional hypocritical moronic LSU fans around here. We all know it.
