right, a drop off from being national champs. We aren't going to fall the depths LSU/AU did.

irby knows how to manage it to some degree but not as a HC….
and how in the hell would you possibly know this, considering he just recently won his first? I recall kirby having a pretty stellar 2017 season and the following year he was 5 minutes away from making the playoffs again.

Why should LSU fans give a frick what Orgeron did at Ole Miss?
As soon as Orgeron left Ole Miss, they win back to back Cotton Bowls with a little heppin', yet Orgeron's most impressive win during his tenure was beating a Memphis State team that finished 7-5.
And LSU hired him

We aren't going to win the title this year
I don’t know about that.
we won the title last year because we had the best defense UGA has ever fielded and one of the best in CFB over the last decade. We wont' replicate that this year.
It's bama's to lose.

Ole Miss fans hate the fact that Ed Orgeron was able to win a national championship in his first 3 years as HC at LSU, while they’ve never been alive to witness Ole Miss even win a conference championship

well that's part of being a HC and building a program is it not?
And I guess I missed where miles, chizik, and orgeron were known far and wide for their coaching acumen and Xs and Os prowess.

I don't think you will either because I think Kirby is a better leader than either Chizik or Orgeron.
His time around Saban should help, I think he is in a far better position on that front.

B/c he had to keep players at Bama from having the hangover or did you forget?
Hahaha. Like you fricking know.

Not even your avi’s tiny arse can change the fact that Orgeron was 2-0 vs UGA with 20+ point wins in each game
And nothing changes that Georgia is 2-0 against your current coach. What does either have to do with 2022?

I do think Bama has a chance that to be really really good. But I wouldn't be surprised if UGA fielded a top-10 offense and defense next year. Realistically speaking, they will likely enter championship weekend 11-1 and they'll have more than a punchers chance against anyone they'd face in the SECCG and playoffs

Yes actually, I do know with 100% certainty that we will not go 7-5 this season.

How do I know? It's not like last season just came out of nowhere.
Georgia has been in control of it's own national title destiny after the regular season was finished every year but one since 2017. Do any of those other teams look like that? Maybe UF somewhat, which as you said, is probably what we'll look like.

Yep, no coaching required to beat teams like UT to a pulp. We literally did not practice for the game, form any game plans or even call plays. Kirby just said “boys, these guys suck. Go do whatever you want we can make the score” Stetson drew up all the plays on his hand prior to each snap.

We all know LSU has not had to worry about losing a title game following a national championship season.
That's an odd thing to bring attention to, but okay...

I'm not WG, but...
Previous posters are correct.
1. We have recruited at an incredibly high level
2. Kirby is a better coach than Orgeron or Chizik
3. We have an easy schedule.
I'll walk away from the Rant if we lose 5 or more games.
Are you willing to say you will walk away if we lose fewer than 5 games?

Which of those blown seasons hurt the most?
Gotta be the two FAILED 15-0 attempts, right?

While true, Alabama still has the best defensive player in the country, the best coach in the country, the returning Heisman Trophy winner, and almost everybody else back. The transfer portal has helped to plug the small hole Alabama had. It just adds up to a big Alabama year. It is football and anything can happen, but with what we know now Alabama has to be the prohibitive favorite.
(imo, OSU has the best chance to deny Alabama, but I just don't think they will do it)

Even with the bar that low, Kirby and his staff suffer by comparison in the actual coaching aspect. O was smart enough to get an OC and let him do his thing. Miles was smart enough to let Chief run the D without interference. Yes they recruited at very high levels but they went out and got coaches and staffs that could coach, and they let them. They didn’t micromanage their weakness.

Well you shouldn’t in the East baw, cakewalk compared to the West. The fact it took you that long to win the Natty, being in that division, with all that talent is truly sad. We get everyone in the West including your main competition in the East. I have no doubt you would be 7-5 if you had our schedule
