Why would I send my son to college station?

To put him on a fast track to being a f@gg0t?

bullshite. North of campus is completely engulfed by a ghetto. The biggest bar area, is right in the middle of the ghetto

Being honest about LSU and Baton Rouge, or as you call it, shitting on, is not the same as shitting on the state.

Not sure why you equate the entire state with one city and one university other than your massive inferiority complex and boomer confusion.

It’s the state school in the state capital. I’ve been accused of a superiority complex due to my education and success but never inferiority, that is pretty funny.

How old are you by the way? You keep referring to others on this board as being old. Living with your mommy at age 40 does not make you a teenager.

I agree it is inappropriate, but I assume you are also RA’ing the OP for trolling about rape and kidnapping.

I will be totally honest here it’s a problem, and I wouldn’t let my kids consider LSU for that exact reason.
It is surrounded by the damn hood except for the lakes.

The build these huge neighborhoods in GRSI area south of campus in 80s during oil boom and when it went bust they basically went completely section 8, and you know what that means. Meanwhile from the North the bad areas keep growing towards LSU.
It’s dangerous as hell.

Meanwhile, apparently they was a stabbing or something at my sons student apartments at Alabama so let’s not get to throwing too many stones if u live in a glass house boys

Bad taste in the face of tragedy is a pretty universal problem among college football fans.

I remember the 1998 LSU versus Georgia game. A bunch of Georgia fans had written (in soap on windshields) trash talk about "Hurricane Georges" rolling into Louisiana and causing devastation.

This was a hurricane that killed hundreds of people and caused over six billion in damages.

I can only hope those people would have understood how disgusting it would have been to them if the shoe was on the other foot - for example, if a Hurricane Louis had recently hit Georgia and was used as a source of trash talk by LSU fans.

I’m not part of the troll but as a resident of the suburbs of Baton Rouge something has happened. Baton Rouge is seriously turning into a cesspool. It is a dangerous city. It is as dangerous as New Orleans now. I work in New Orleans and other than the roads there not much difference in the two. Something needs to be done. I don’t know if it’s the politicians in charge or what but it is not nearly as nice now as it was even 5 years ago it seems.

They should probably just buy up the land close to campus. Reversing neighborhood blight is a difficult problem.

Would never happen even with decent city leadership, much less the shitshow we have now.

The University of Louisiana is in Lafayette, which is a lovely city. Louisiana has many state universities.

It’s a crime infested shithole just like the honors dorm at LSU.

That’s not an indictment on the rest of the state, just Baton Rouge and LSU
