I came across this little fight posted on twitter. not ideal, but shot happens.
Fight at West Laville honors dorm
But then it led down this rabbithole.
Student was shot on campus
Another was kidnapped on campus.
These quotes from students and parents are pretty damning.

quote:
Police have been busy at Laville Hall. Just last week, an LSU student was shot during an attempted armed robbery outside the dorm when 19-year-old Clarence Hypolite reportedly stuck a gun into the side of the student and told the male “stop playing with me and give me everything.”
Another was kidnapped on campus.
quote:
An LSU student was kidnapped on Aster Street near Cypress Hall. University spokesperson Ernie Ballard said campus police were called out to a residence hall by someone else and met with the victim early Wednesday morning.
These quotes from students and parents are pretty damning.
quote:
“I’m terrified for me and my friends’ safety,” said Jennifer Cook, a leadership and human resources development sophomore. “We live on campus and I’m worried that one night one of us won’t come home. It’s a terrifying way to live.”
“I have a daughter in Miller [Hall] and am freaked out between the news, the shooting and the freaking kidnapping this week!”
“Unfortunately, I don’t feel safe on this campus,” said Kimsey Stewart, a political science and mass communication senior. “I wish I did.”

I've lived in BR most of my life and it is not that dangerous, it has its bad spot just like any city. Also, the campus is not dangerous.

The students who were beaten up, shot, kidnapped, and others literally say otherwise.

Hopefully the girls fighting in the dorm are expelled.

Shithole
I was going to ask you if they have found a way to address the prevalent sexual assault issues they had on A&M's campus, but then I remembered you have never been on it.

Of push comes to shove, I'll take that over being murdered.

here is a quick comparison.
Only 65% of Lsu students feel safe and secure on campus.
A&M - 94%
Bama - 87%
Miss St - 87%
Georgia - 81%
Florida - 80%
