Watching the Raiders v Cardinals game and he looks like he could be a solid rookie. I always thought he was a beast in college but never understood why bama didn’t have him at RB1?

That's a question we'd all like to know, I always liked him over Harris.

Same reason Saban let Kamara transfer out. They have more talented backs than they know what to do with.

Saban wanted to help Gruden stay with the Raiders so he wouldn’t come to Tennessee and start wrecking shite!

I think he was gonna take the job next time Vols

I like him for ROY as I assume the touches will be there.

Because we were loaded at the position.

Saban likes to distribute carries because he cares about his players, doesn't wanna wear them down.

Worked into the rotation as a freshman. Injured as a sophomore. Just a very deep RB corps like year. But should have been used more.

Saban likes to use seniors who stay in the program. How D Harris was the starter over Jacobs and N Harris, I will never figure out.

I wouldn't even put D Harris in the top ten RB list while Saban has been at Bama.

Absolutely. He was clearly the best back last year.

Im not sure Jacobs can handle 15+ carries over a season.

He was perfect in a complementary role and outstanding in space as a receiver.

See Joseph Addai, sometimes Saban dislikes the running back everybody thinks is better.

The only player in more than a decade that had that kind of workload, and one who was uniquely suited for it.

Try again.

Well that is just silly - he was a very good player. And . . . a great person and great representative of the university.

I don't see him carrying the ball 100 times a season. So I've always thought that was a waste of a pick.

Even then, he wouldn’t have gotten as many had both Drake and Harris not gotten injured. Henry was the only back that managed to play every game that season.
