Not looking ahead, but we have some real winnable games in the upcoming weeks. After the bye we would still have panthers (2X), Bucs (2X) and Falcons on the back half of the season. It’s setting up great.

Lake Charles College Prep vs. Sam Houston

They played last night and College Prep won 45-31. I went to look at Albert Simien and Javon Vital. Simien is committed to ND and Vital is committed to Southern Cal. Simien was pancaking everyone. He’s not going to play many D-lineman that match his power. College Prep could not match size with Sam Houston and it showed with Simien. Now as for Javon Vital, he’s listed at 5-9 185. He’s a lot bigger than 185. Probably plays closer to 200lbs. This kid is the real deal. His burst is unquestionable. He lined up at RB, WR, QB, CB, KR & P. College Prep has legit talent. Their QB is a G6 talent. They have at least 3-4 more G6 talents as well as a couple FCS players as well. With Simien going to ND LSU needs to take a serious look at Vital as an athlete and just find a place for him to play.

Singleton has the ability to be the next big time LB prospect if the correct scheme is put in place. Playing next to Whit next year will do wonders for him.

I think Singleton will be awesome next year. He should start next to Whit next year. He’s got tremendous athleticism for a LB.

Well, he made 3.5 million at Nebraska this year so it’s gonna cost you maybe as high as 5 million for one season to get him. He’s going pro after his junior year for sure.

I know a lot of posters wanted CBK to hire him for cornerbacks coach but some questioned his experience coaching at G5 and lower schools only. This changes the game for him. He’s coming home when CCR is eventually done.

Normally in college, the TE's coach is an extremely good recruiter added to the staff or a young up and comer that will learn from the current OC. In the NFL, the TE's coach is an extension of the OC. They do a lot of schemeing and and game planning because there duties on the field are limited. TE's coaches get promoted to OC a lot faster than you think.

She's a freshman. She's growing at what she does with skill and confidence. No difference in freshman football players that should be showing improvement at the mid-season point.
