No it's cool. So you're secondary will be average to good right? Even though they haven't been good since maybe the late 90s, the highest their passing defense has ranked since 2006 is 86th....but that shouldn't be the achilles heel, no, not at all, just the front seven.

So rushing defense is the only thing that determines the quality of the front seven?
When last I checked, there are two components of a pass defense: Coverage and pass rush.
We lost our leading tackler, sacker, and pass rusher (all the same person) to the NY Giants.
Last year, going into the season, our secondary was the question mark, as we only returned one starter (and he was questionable as a defender).
Steven Terrell was a career backup
Dustin Harris was a liability
Deshazor Everett had played a grand total of 10 plays in mopup duty
Howard Matthews was repeatedly burned when he played
DeVante Harris was a true freshman
Contrast that with our projected starters this year:
Deshazor Everett is now one of the top CB in the conference
DeVante Harris has a year of experience and 7 starts under his belt
Howard Matthews has another year of experience and 10 starts under his belt over 2 seasons
Floyd Raven is the big ? as all indications are that he got beat out by a converted QB (Clay Honeycutt)
