The Huskies? That is a strange metric, when clearly the eye test tells us that it's gonna look a lot like the SECCG. There are just too many got damn numbers these days. Bama will win by at least 21.

All I know is I'm already sick of the faux outrage from Big 10 fans because Penn State/Michigan didn't get in too.

I hope Alabama drags their nuts all over the whole bunch and the SEC has a fantastic showing in bowls. frick 'em even if the gap has closed some.

Because the "experts" believe that the Tide have not been truly tested, and the SEC offered no real challenge as far as offense goes.

They believe Bama is #1, but may have trouble with some of the more accomplished offenses in the playoffs. There are some very good QB's that will be playing. Bama's D can be beat or at the very least given fits by a good passing offense.

They may be right and then again Bama's defense may just show why the SEC looked average especially against Bama.

The SEC really does have a QB issue throughout. The 68% doesn't bother me and think it's accurate for the most part. However, I don't believe any of the offenses have faced a front 7 like Bama puts on the field.

I'm looking forward to the playoffs.

Tenner certainly was no test.

That's a strange method they use for calculating this. We were given like 40% chance to beat Tennessee and I think Auburn was 50% or somewhere around that.

Actually 68% is pretty high.

Yes FPI. It was flashing on the bottom of the WWL board earlier today. Makes no damn sense. I would say Bama has a 90-95% chance to win.

Fans need to remember this is the game Chris Petersen has been waiting for and why he left Boise State. LINK Peterson carried a very high frustration while at Boise Sate. He's now got his team at Washington and will bring a sold effort against Bama. If he had this team at Boise State he would not have his team in the playoff due to the corrupt way this committee makes the decisions on who will be in the final four to play for the NC.

I have no doubt that Bama will dominate the Huskies, but think about it -- a 68% chance to beat a top 4 team. That's not exactly an insult.

Bama has played 10 top 50 offenses.

10

1/5 of the top 50.

Just saying.

Yep, and which ones gave them the most fits and had top QB's?

Pay attention to what I said. The "experts" are claiming they have yet to play a dynamic offense like Washington who also has a top 15 scoring defense. Ole Miss came the closest with Kelly at QB.

The four teams in the playoffs are all in the top 15 in scoring Offense and scoring Defense.

I think Bama wins, but I am merely trying to explain the 68% chance of winning question of the OP..

Because Jake Browning may be the best QB in CFB and history shows us that under Saban, Bama struggles mightily against elite QBs. Especially in big meaningful games

Check his stats against Colorado and USC. That's pressure from their DL, what do you think bama will do?

ratings.

They will make the Huskies look like world beaters for the next month.

Just like with Notre Dame a while back.
