You people are hopeless. Yes,lets re-name the Wooden Award the "Miller Award" for young Brandon bringing a gun to a buddy that in turn was used in a murder.
I said I was waiting for the list of "team violations" that you said Miller has committed, not some mealy-mouth ya-ya-ya crap!
Hopefully you'll use some retrospect in the future before going public with whatever come into your head.

And in this country, the burden of proof is on the accuser. So for the sake of discussion on a message board, I guess you can say "it goes both ways." But not in a court of law. And that's the standard that any school should use in such a situation

No doubt.

That's why we all think OJ is guilty even though he wasn't convicted.

True. And just as with OJ, Miller will likely lose the civil case that is inevitably coming...if he doesn't settle...because the burden shifts from "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" to "guilty based on a preponderance of the evidence". The jury can rule against Miller in a civil case if they think he's guilty based on the evidence. They don't have to be certain.

...which, at Alabama, is not a violation of team rules

Remember: "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit". Right Bammers?

We know how that turned out...

crisp, wouldn't the team rules include something to the effect of "avoiding any conduct detrimental to the University of Alabama"?

What did Miller do after the murder?

What did all three Bama players do?

There’s a saying in coaching that whatever behavior players exhibit is tolerated therefore promoted. You can apply this rule to the university of Alabama.

They had more than enough to arrest and TRY Simpson in court. Why haven't the authorities done so with Miller?...I'll help;
Because there's NO EVIDENCE that Miller committed a crime!
PS-If you still don't understand, get a smart person to explain it to you.

AH! Now I see why Odell was making it rain on his LSU buddies ON THE FIELD the night of their '19 Natty game.

How specifically did he even violate that clause if it did exist?

By showing up at a crime scene? Because right now that’s all that can be proven took place based on the evidence we have and the laws of the state of Alabama.

I don’t like the situation anymore than many on here do but you can’t just make up rules or fabricate the facts to support an emotional need to “do something”.

A two game suspension over a fabricated team rule isn’t bringing that child her mom back.

Certainly, and that would be (as in ALL contracts) a "catch-all" allowing the institution to make extremely wide ranging determinations of the word "detrimental". The "proof in the pudding" so to speak, would be the fact that the law found NO WRONG DOING on the part of Miller, so it would be very difficult to determine "detrimental behavior", I'd think.

Do you support suspending Brandon Miller?

I don't care one way or another. I'm not particularly invested in whatever hoodrat shite goes on down there.

My only issue is with the hypocritical bama fans who have been crying about having shite slung their way when they have done the same in the past and would certainly be doing the same right now if the roles were reversed with any other team.
