Air Noland QB S.Carolina RS Soph. Good QB for Zollers to compete with. We win no matter who starts.

Im good with everything on the list except this. Have some good connections with the SC FB program, and this guy is a problem. Lazy, doesnt show up to film/practice, doesnt care at all about football.

Also, id add exploring Sprague or Babalola from Michigan. (just noticed Jake Garcia is still in college while looking up how to spell Babalola. Garcia is on the Michigan roster lol)

I know this one is probably a long shot but another name id like to throw out there is Kendal Briles but with him being the Associate HC as well as the OC at TCU i don't think he would want to just be an OC now. His past offenses have shown the ability to dominate in the run game or passing game depending on his roster makeup.

while doing this research i stumbled across a name some of yall will remember. AJ Ricker! He is the co-OC and oline coach down at TCU. He would be a name to keep an eye on. I also only think we make that move if Brandon Jones were to also leave. Ive seen Jones mentioned with the OK State OC job due to his connections with Eric Morris.

So how about Jerry Neuheisel as OC?

That would be awesome but i don't see Jerry leaving UCLA and if he does he probably stays on the west coast. I could be wrong though. He was born there, played there and his dad also coached there. Its his dream job just to be on staff at UCLA.

Wish list would be Garrett Riley from Clemson. Only making 1.75 mil there and i doubt he is happy there. His offense at Clemson is bad but i think that has more to do with Dabo and "The Clemson Way" vs Riley's abilities. Riley's offense everywhere else has been high powered.

James Madison in the transfer portal

Seeing him in the portal hurts. I had big hopes for him when we landed his commitment. I know the WR room is loaded but thought he would find some space next year on the field.

re: Burden in the 2nd round???

I think Burden's success will be determined on what team he goes too and how they utilize him. He will be a deebo/ayuik type player. Need to get him the ball in space through "gadget" type plays.

I like Roberts but he isn't as effective in the outside/stretch zone. You need a speed back to run that.

Honestly, he will probably end up at A&M or Houston the way they are throwing money around in the portal. He is from Texas.
damn, that one hurts. He looked like our top RB the next 2 years.

frick a bridge QB, go get best available. If its a potential 2-3 year starter, so be it. Worst case if you go get Walker and he isnt the guy, you at least proved you tried make the best team available and then you can ride with Zollers.

Lets go get Walker White from auburn. They just brought in Arnold so Walker will enter the portal.

starting NIL payments to the player when they commit.

We cant do that. We can only start payments once they sign there NLI. Which earliest I believe is sometime in November when its early signing day.
OC/QB background, interesting choice by Drink. Maybe worried about Moore leaving after this year so trying to get someone ingrained in the system early?

re: 2025 Football Recruiting

Would be a huge start to 2025 recruiting, landing a top100 player from out of state. Would show we are here to play on the national recruiting stage, not just the top players from Missouri.

Travel ball is a religion everywhere... whats the point with that statement.

Your son is that good hes down to TCU and Mizzou or those are his dream schools? Because that is an odd final 2 if hes that good.

No, based on what im hearing from around the program and my connections in college baseball (I played and talk to some college coaches semi regularly). Also, he pulled the wake forest starting SS/DH in the transfer portal. Dude was on a CWS team and picked Mizzou. He could of gone anywhere.

Give baseball a year or two to get established under Jackson. I think we have something good brewing with him.
if we somehow land Roman, that has to boost our 2025 QB recruiting so much. So much talent will be in our WR room for these QBs to throw too.
were in the final 4 for QB Matt Zollers, 4* out of PA. Its us, Penn State, Pitt and Georgia. Id say we are doing something right to even be in his top 4.

jesus, im guessing this dude has never bought a house based on his jumping from school to school. Hes never stayed over 3 years at any school.

You cant wait that long. they need to hire before spring ball starts to implement the scheme. Unless we plan on promoting DJ, Drink needs to name a guy semi soon.

I had a feeling he would be interviewed. I asked for peoples opinion on him a week or two ago in another thread.
