Why should Bama leave what they built?

They are far superior to Notre Dame and Texas.

Bama is the SEC to the nation.
You see an SEC logo, the rest of the nation sees a script A.
LSU fans see Tiger Stadium, the nation sees a place where Alabama plays once every 2 years.
You see Auburn, the rest of the nation,"th...there's another college team in Alabama?"

Alabama needs the SEC and the SEC definitely needs the Tide.
The national schedule that ND puts together each year wouldn’t work for Alabama. The SEC schools wouldn’t schedule them if they left (see, e.g. GT when they left) and Alabama would have a tough time putting together a challenging schedule each year that would be attractive to their fan base.
And I agree that the national audience thinks of Alabama as the SEC in football.

If by sucking you mean having a winning record over every team they played 10 or more times
If by sucking you mean having the most NC won by any Division 1 team
If by sucking you mean having 4 head coaches that won NC while at Alabama and three of them multiple ones.
this was all before Coach Saban came to Alabama

Like most of the OP's obsessive threads started about Alabama, he didn't think this one through.

Tide Tide Tide...
You call that a conference that Texas is in?
They think and act as an independent. Singlehandedly ruining that conference.

Georgia Tech already did that. They got greedy and you see where it got them.

Because it's too fun ruining LSU's season every year.

Tulane was a bit different from Georgia Tech. GT was all about greed. Tulane was more of we can’t keep up with the Big Dogs athletically and was more about focusing on academics.
However, I wished they had stayed in the conference. I have always liked Tulane whereas I could care less about GT.

They would never make the playoff with the weak arse schedule they would have. They need the sec. Plus they would have to use the other conferences refs.
So you say BAMA's schedule is weak while in the SEC playing the likes of AU, LSU, UT, etc, but now our schedule would be weak if we left the conference.
So is BAMA's schedule really weak or do you just hate BAMA?
Is BAMA's schedule weak because they can't play themselves?
I'm sure you get it.
