The person named starting QB in 2020 was one of the fastest most athletic players on the team and was recruited and signed by Kirby.

Fields wasn't ready to run Kirby's scheme. You have to believe that promises about tailoring an offense around his skill set were discussed, in length, before he signed there. If Fields wasn't looking for that offensive fit he wouldn't have been in Columbus on the rebound.

Doesn't matter as much as it used to with Modern Offenses and current rules favoring the Offense over Defense. It's why Saban and other defensive minded coaches have completely changed their Offenses. The only two holdouts seem to be Muschamp and Smart.....

You might want to go find the post where i pointed out that the Clemson OL was the biggest mismatch in the game. Stated specifically that their midget LT couldnt handle UGA's edge rushers nor their C vs Davis

Didn't Bama do this a few years back with FSU? They also didn't sqeak by 10-3 with no offensive TD's.
