We have heard from UGA fans for years now that 4th and Kirby wants to open up the offense yet he keeps throwing game mangers at QB out there. Why does he want to keep living in the past ?

Because he doesn't want to.

He’s still trying to create 2009 Alabama in Athens.

He recruited Fields & Gunner Stockton. Fields wasn't ready to be the starter. Kirby did botch his playing time, tho. He's been a HC for 4 or 5 years? Give the man time.

And Brock Vandagriff.

Why does OP insist on jumping to conclusions about the 2021 UGA offense after 1 game

Bama would have also struggled on o vs clemson and an injured group of pass catchers.

Literally no evidence of that. None. Bama changed their offense way back in 2014. If Alabama had won the Miami game 10-3 with not a single offensive TD I seriously doubt they would have their heads in the sand like you do either.

No evidence against it either.

But we already know you don’t have a clue how decimated our pass catching group is, so you are speaking out of your arse as usual.

Go back to the other thread to embarrass yourself .

Despite promises of change there has been no change in your Offense. None. That goes for last year as well. Alabama changed their whole Offensive philosophy.

Bama doesnt have a QB with a average arm and the foot speed of a OL. It also has the deepest WR room in CFB.

At the end of the day UGA fans are just going to have to accept that HC is stuck in the past. We as UA fans already know this bc 4th and Kirby never adjusted on how to defend HUNH Spread O's with a DTQB when he was the DC at UA.

Smart recruited Fields and tried to shoehorn him into games where it didn't make sense to try to keep him from leaving, and he left anyway.

He recruited D'Wan Mathis, who was sidelined with an unexpected illness that required brain surgery, and then when he started, he sucked. But at least he was given a chance to start. Also, he was replaced by a mobile QB, just not one with enough talent or physical attributes to get the job done for us.

Smart got Jamie Newman from the transfer portal. Newman was going to be the guy but decided to quit and bubble wrap himself for the draft.

He recruited Brock Vandagriff, who is a true freshman this year, and is trying to learn the system behind Daniels.

He recruited Gunner Stockton, a senior in HS this year, who looks to be a force for us when he gets to start.

So yeah, Kirby has recruited mobile QBs. They either haven't worked out or they are waiting for their shot. Smart has been trying to play the best QB for the team at the time and we're still waiting for the best QB to be quick on their feet.

You've made 327 posts, and it looks like 300 of them are about Georgia.

If you knew how decimated our pass catchers were, you would understand what is happening.
