Caught Texas off guard the 1st drive of the 2nd half because they prepared for Beck, but aside from that, he was arse.
71 yards on 16 attempts with 1 int, 8 rushes for 8 yards, 1 fumble on his own 20 that luckily rolled out of bounds. He's trash and had no business running his mouth, which Mukuba promptly shut anyway

Because UGA won 2 natty's and missed playing in the 4 team playoff by 3 points in the SEC CG last season with QBs who weren't what most people would consider great. Stetson Bennett was a very good college QB, not great, and Carson Beck is arguably slightly better than Bennett. Stockton is MORE than good enough to get UGA through the next 3 games undefeated. Is he the second coming of Joe Burrow? Not by any stretch....UGA does not need great QB play to win, they win in bunches with QBs who would probably start on most rosters but are not going to be first round draft picks in the NFL.

I think UGA fans believe the key to Georgia winning another national championship will not be the QB play anyway.
Stockton should force the entire team to lean into run first and play defense.....which is actually how you consistently beat good teams.
They have the players everywhere they need to do just that. Run it down your throat and play smothering defense.
There's no need to panic if you are UGA. They simply need average QB play to beat anybody.

Go ahead, tell us UGA's rushing stats in the 2nd half too. And while you're at it, tell us how Gunner will look after several weeks with the #1s at practice

What other choice do we have but to go with our backup QB? He might totally suck arse. He might pull a Stetson Bennett and win it all. We don't have a choice because our starter is out.
