They're orphans, they don't have a daddy.
They just wander from conference to conference looking for acceptance. They're just glad to be here.
Aggies, OTOH, are the bratty little brother who can't wait to get out from his brother's shadow - and gets sent off to military school where he learns to march and like boys.

Baylor tried to sue us to prevent us from leaving.

Mizzou was a founding member of the original conference now called Big 12. Texas was the rotten apple in the barrel. MU is the only university in state that was part of former conference. Aggies have to live with 4 other in state universities that are members of Big 12.
Even so, Aggies are no happier than Mizzou fans to be rid the Big 12.

Mizzou seems happier. Aggies seem to be wanting to give the middle finger.

We're not only happier, but we take great pleasure in rubbing their faces in it.
We're not gracious winners in that regard.

Because Missouri fans know deep down that Missouri got wandering eyes and then got shafted by the Big 10, so the SEC move was a great way of saving face (even though the "blame Texas" mantra has permeated Missouri's revisionist history. See below for more on that).
A&M has been anti-Big 12 because they are fools. Fools in that their administration, in order to pull off the move they did, they had to have a boogeyman to rail against, and that boogeyman was Texas.
As you SEC people can see, the easiest way to whip an Aggie into a frenzy is to mention Texas, and their administrators used that to their advantage while they left the conference because of they were tired of getting outmaneuvered by Texas within the Big 12 apparatus. So they had to get away from them or forever suffer in their shadow.
Good for A&M, it was a bold move. But make no mistake, they were sold on the SEC move by stirring the pot against their former Texas brethren, whom they left after about 100 years as conference mates.
Now, they are your problem.

Nope. Texas was the problem.
Missouri didn't get jilted by the Big 10, it refused to be paid probationary money that the Nebbies were quick to snatch up.
That said, why did Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Missouri all leave? If you act like an a-hole, smell like an a-hole, and everyone says you're an a-hole, then you're probably an a-hole.

Only reason I would ever support Missouri leaving the SEC is if they fricked up and added Texas.

Because Mizzou does't have the little-bro syndrome that aTm has.

Because Mizzou rarely ever had any success in the Big 12 and were able to win the SEC East the last two seasons while going 1-10 against conference teams with a winning record.
Mizzou has lost 4 conference games in the last two seasons (including the SECCG). How do you get from 4 losses to 1-10? Is that Common Core math?
It's why when counting wins Nebraskan's can't get past 10
