Talk about a school that would ONLY be wanted for population/TVs & money, that’s UTrans. Nobody would want the drama, the BS, the arrogance for any other reason than those. It’s a simple cost - benefit & the BS is worth the dough in the minds of the SEC brass. Simple as that.

Most OU boosters and fans wanted to go to the SEC in 2010 when they were invited. But at the time Boren was the president and he wouldn't go without Oklahoma State. When the new President took over, he made it a priority. Texas really had nothing to do with it.
