The Dolphins? We really don't care about them.

Have you ever considered the fact that "LSU fans" might possibly hate the guy because he is a complete dick of a coach and a liar?
I really just dislike him because he coaches Alabama (like I've disliked every other Alabama coach).

I think there was a thread last week where an LSU fan asked about Saban making adjustments to the option game and the first page had like 4 different Bama fans bleeting out some variation of 'OMG ur so obsessed with Saban. Git over it already!!!'.

Classic Bama. Beat a drum to death and when someone asks why Bama keeps beating that drum, they spring the "I can't believe you are so obsessed with drum beating. What is wrong with YOU! All you ever do is talk about the drum and why it is so loud." Love the gambit. Well played. Classic.

I find this ironic considering his greeting by Alabama fans at the airport.

Because the avg Gump can't stomach the fact that Miles has Saban's number so they project Saban onto the LSU success effectively claiming LSUs success for Bama.

He's 3-2 and everyone of those games was a hell of a close game that could have gone either way. Mine and your definition of owning must be different.

Let me first get this out of the way. You're an idiot.

quote:

Why would you want him back? He lied to you and cheated on you with the girl you hate most and is now rubbing it in your face. I don't blame you for crying over this breakup and being really mad. You would think your new boyfriend and success would have ended the jealousy some though.

Now, secondly. I never actually really "hated" Alabama (and I don't think many other LSU fans did as well) until Saban went there.

To put it in the boyfriend analogy..it's like Saban went off clubbing for awhile but couldn't get any bites there because he was just too much of a dickface for any girl to take seriously. Other guys didn't like him either. But his name was out there, so you hear that old Alabama tramp calling his name and offering "lucrative" benefits if he gets with her. Now, considering Saban had a major fail in the NFL, or "big world", he kindly takes the tramp's offer, to the joyous cries of her inbred family everywhere in the Alabama area

It's like the a-hole at the party trying to impress all the ladies, and gets more and more obnoxious as the night goes on. Well, he's an insecure, loud-mouthed a-hole.

More like the guy that's banged every braud at the party including yours, and you're jealous of him.

csaint, you've just proved my point and you don't even realize it.

Why would we not love our own coach? The question is, after 2 national title appearances after the breakup, why do LSU fans still obsess over Saban and seek our approval for their new man?

Because it pisses off LSU fans.

But don't you SEE! The Dolphins were part of his elaborate plot to get to Bama! It is all about Bama. He couldn't just go to Bama. He needed a fall guy. The fact that he destroyed the Dolphins was a bonus for him. Cost them an owner and everything. Saban gets what he wants and destroys LSU and Miami. What more could a guy want?

Alabama fans are little too obsessive with regards to their football coaches. It is cultlike.

If I am an idiot, why did you continue with the boyfriend analogy and affirm my stance that you are still obsessed with Saban (hence your own admission that you never hated Alabama until Saban went there)?

There is a lot of artificial Saban hate in this thread.

Almost as much artificial Lester love.

Y'all are quick to forget the blow up in 08, the inexcusable loss to Ole Miss in 09 and then the screw up that was the UT game last year.

Again, Les Miles has done one of the best jobs in SEC history since that UT game last year.

He's gonna have to keep it up to keep you Rantards off of Saban's jock.

Because your analogy wasn't realistic to the situation. Simply put

The only difference between PSU and Bama is the tragedy that happened in State College. It isn't hard to see the kind of hero-worship culture they have there and determine it is at an unhealthy level. That's why I'm glad LSU fans demand winning and no one is a statue or crowned prince at the university. Hell our fans want to fire everyone always.

But never lost to the equivalent of ULM while he has been here in Baton Rouge. Came close with Troy though.
