I think Auburn could be better than expected.

Retaining Durkin was huge and should make this regime change go smoother than the typical HC switch.

They'll be solid defensively. If they can find a groove offensively they'll be a tough out.

Watch out for Kentucky. Stein was the best offseason coaching hire in the SEC IMHO. They may not have overall talent to break in the upper tier of the conference, but they're going to end up being a contender sooner than later.

Well if I dont pick FL and we may have an O line issue I would probably go with TN out of the teams that aren't considered real threats to win the conference. I think they may end up better than people think.

I would agree with you if it wasn't for a possible big issue on the O line at a Tackle position. I think our possibilities there aren't that good unless Westphal can overcome his injury and win that spot before the season. That is not a big weakness you want to have going against SEC defenses.

Considering all I have heard on this board is DeBoer sucks and can't recruit, the Alabama program is in rapid decline not to ever be resurrected and the NIL era has relegated the Capstone to second tier status - Alabama.

Missouri will be solid.

Especially if Hardy is healthy

Austin Simmons is an upgrade, Cayden Lee is good. The backup RB is also good.

I think they will be 8-4/9-3 and knock teams off

Also think Miss St will take another incremental step forward.

Kamario Taylor is a good QB. Have some veteran pieces via portal. Think they can go at least 7-5

Kind of think Auburn or Florida. Don’t know if Tennessee would be considered a dark horse, but I could see Heupel pulling some rabbits out of his hat. Certainly not us. We’re still perpetually “rebuilding”.
