any QB that has never won the heisman or been invited to the heisman ceremony as a finalists is automatically disqualified from the list.
with that being said
Doug Flutie
Charlie Ward
Tim Tebow
Vince Young
Mike Vick
Cam Newton
Rex Grossman (slight gator bias but dude was a baller)
Matt Leinart
It seems like we show more love to the dual threat QBs. Who was a great PRO-STYLE QB? As a Gator, I can't give college Peyton those honors going 0-4 against a rival and no Heisman or NC.
Any recommendations

Bernie Kosar from The U. Hated the guy in college but was one of the best I've ever seen.
As far as SEC goes, obviously Peyton Manning. This list obviously is not in sequential order, just random names but they were all great QBs. Some excelled in the pros and some did not.
Tebow is up there.
Ken Stabler
Willy Joe Namath
Johnny Football Manziel
Eli Manning
Eric Zeier
Danny Wuerffel
Heath Shuler
Matthew Stafford
Tim Couch

Tommie Frazier. He wasn't the best athlete or the best passer and he didn't put up jaw-dropping stats, but he was the best college QB I've seen when considering everything he did. He mastered the Nebraska offense and was a wizard at the option...and he was as good a leader as Tebow was at Florida...
Frazier helped lead Nebraska to 4 consecutive Big 8 championships ('92-'95) and back-to-back national championships ('94-'95); if their kicker could've made a 45 yard FG, they'd have won the '93 national championship as well and it would've been 3 consecutive. He also was either the MVP or co-MVP of 3 straight national championship games...
That '95 team may have been the best ever and Frazier was the trigger that made 'em go...he absolutely destroyed Florida in the championship game that year...

In order
Vince Young
Tebow
Bradford
Brad Smith
Anybody that doesn't even have Bradford on the list is a douche.

In person?
Yeah, it was in person. It was the year they won the NC over USC. Eric Crouch of Nebraska was pretty fun to watch as well. That option offense was a thing of beauty.

Maybe not the best overall QB...but the best passer I ever saw play in person was Eric Zeier.

Yeah, I remember that run...and I remember the joke goin' 'round after the game that I'm sure Gator fans got tired of hearing:
How many Gators does it take to tackle Tommie Frazier?
Not sure...but we know it's more than 11...

Hate to say it but Peyton.

Eli Manning. Before I get called a homer, that dude could make throws you don't see many college qbs make and it wasn't like his team was a bunch of heroes.
If you go back and watch some Ole Miss games from that era you can appreciate his greatness - his arm strength was phenomenal at the college level.
His supporting cast was very average as well.

Without a doubt Cam Newton.
