re: If Florida was scheduled to play FAU or USF last Saturday...

Not really. We had a tent a win first game of the season in 2014. Both teams were in Gainesville and on the field and the game had one play. A kickoff . And no snaps.
The game was cancelled and never reschedule due to lightning .
Contrary to popular belief sometimes weather interferes with plans to play outdoor sports.
Had nothing to do with the opponent and everything to do with the weather

Giving up the lead to Tennessee is bad no doubt.... BUT. Every team Tennessee has played has blown a lead or had Tennessee storm back to tie or take the lead, aggie included.
The difference is aggie and Georgia got them at home and was able to counter without crowd noise being a factor.
Until someone gets a lead and doesn't blow it against Tennessee I don't think you can really dock if as bad as you are trying for that. Let's see how bama does this weekend.

Well florida lone loss is by 10, on the road, with a backup QB.
To a team that is better than auburn and Wisconsin... I get that lsu losses are close. But for a team with a relatively "good loss", Florida is not respected in these rankings at all. Remember Georgia got to play Tennessee at home.

The only 2 loss team that should be ahead of Florida is ole miss.... And maaaaaaaybe auburn.
Georgia and lsu have looked bad in their 2 losses.

LINK (Del Rio)
LINK (Tabor)
LINK (Quincy Wilson)
they felt the same as LSU players... Christmas morning with no presents. They wanted to play. A week of prep, some trash talk, best cross-division permanent matchup last 20 years imo (sorry Tenn/Bama)
The players on both sides wanted to play each other. The fear narrative makes good banter for social media, journalists, and fans though

Makes sense..every offseason both Tennessee and LSU believe "this is the year." We've got a heisman candidate (insert position) and we return x number of starters....
The perennial offseason national champions as allies....glad you guys saw what you had in common.
In April, no one can tell you guys anything...but by the end of November

you missed the point....the game would have taken place about 17-21 days after the flooding if the AD had done what was suggested in the OP

nah you guys caved in.... Oct 10 (actual game date)
vs oct 24.... To keep your home game and have more than 2 weeks to prepare to host. Clean water would not have been an issue.
You had a chance to host the game... Just not on 10/10
Your AD didn't explore all options

Hold serve and try to keep their home game? They let LSU punk them.
USCe had an open date 10/24
LSU had a bye 10/31 and western Kentucky rent a win on 10/24.
Why not move the bye to the week of the flood 10/10. Then play lsu usc on 10/24. Then lsu western Kentucky on 10/31.
All byes and home games in order. Had this terrible precedent of letting LSU dictate the terms not been set, we would not be in this situation.

Anyone, Les Miles included, could have stood on the sideline and got you a 3 TD victory over Mizzou by running the football.
You just outted yourself as someone that either has no idea what they are talking about and or your just regurgitating what a talking head would say that hasn't watched an LSU game in 4 years.
seems LSU fans are excusing the first 4 games of the season as all on Les Miles....you are chest thumping and truly feel you are "really undefeated" because that was when Les was coaching. "We're different now"
Fine. While you're at it go ahead and discredit all of the magical bullshite Les Miles has pulled out of his arse year in year out to re-energize the UF-LSU rivalry and single-handedly come up with ways to defeat UF. I always respected LSU when he was coaching against UF because i knew some little giants annexation of puerto rico bullshite arse play would dupe us.
Coach O is not the savior you are thinking...you guys did this with Etling...you did it with offseason Brandon Harris...you did it with spring football offense opening up.... you'll soon be back to reality

how does one game make a team "HOT."
In basketball if you make ONE shot you are not "HOT"
The only team in the SEC that I would consider hot is Tenn... the wins they have and the way they won...HOT means no matter what good things just seem to happen. That's been the case for Tenn this year.

Postponed vs cancelled
2 official releases tell you everything

Florida says its postponed
LSU says its cancelled and they won't attempt to reschedule
Hmmmm.... Pissing contest between both. One at least seems willing to reschedule and play... The other is tucking its tiger tail

Why didn't u make South Carolina play at a neutral site
Because South Carolina is South Carolina ... Not Florida
You don't play them every year
The storm had already happened and that decision was reactionary not preventative
We ain't South Carolina.. Bring that arse to Gainesville bitch
melt!!!!
